Los Angeles Rams 27-31 Seattle Seahawks - fourth quarter

Kamren Kitchens comes flying in off the left to sack Sam Darnold with a heavy tackle for a loss of nine yards.

The Rams really threw the Kitchens sink at that one...

Great effort from Kenneth Walker to dive for a first down just before the end of the quarter to keep the Seahawks offence on the field as we enter the fourth.

Just 15 minutes fromt he Super Bowl...

Responding to Alex at 1:44. I'm glad I'm not the only one who followed the Seahawks because of Frasier!

And it costs them seven points, immediately, as Matthew Stafford fires a ball to Puka Nacua in the corner of the end zone - and guess who was covering him? Yes, it's Riq Woolen who has had a complete nightmare the last few minutes.

So Woolen has dropped an interception, then cost his side 15 yards when the Rams were due to punt, and then the man he was covering scored a touchdown on the next play.

LA back in this epic, breathless encounter.

  7. Poor penaltypublished at 01:59 GMT 26 January

Los Angeles Rams 20-31 Seattle Seahawks - third quarter

Tariq Woolen breaks up a third-down pass by Matthew Stafford, but then can't help himself and goes at the Rams bench jawing at players, coaches, whoever he can find - that draw a flag for taunting that turns a fourth down and 12 for the Rams into a first down and 15 extra yards.

Talk about a bonehead play. That could cost Seattle big time.

Davante Adams again with a big play as he takes a fine grab for a 35-yard completion as Matthew Stafford comes out firing yet again - he's got no option really as his defence shows no signs of being able to stop Seattle scoring at the other end.

As a Jets fan, all I can say is it’s great to see Darnold playing like this. After what happened to him with us, this kid deserves a Super Bowl Ring!

It's nothing too fancy. It ends up being zone coverage. The inside gets cleared out and Cooper Kupp just feels the sweet spot in that zone.

Sam Darnold kind of looks to the left, opens up that voided zone a little bit and then it's a decisive throw with perfect accuracy. It's another great play by Darnold in the biggest game of his career.

It's another touchdown! Sam Darnold facing a third down finds Cooper Kupp coming in off the right-hand side and he lowers the shoulder to bounce into the end zone from 13 yards out.

Another stunning drive, plenty of action for Kupp in there with a first-down catch and then a meaty block to spring Jaxon Smith-Njigba, and that score will be a dagger to Rams fans to see their former Super Bowl hero now putting them to the sword.

That's yet another attacking response and I think we can put the Sam Darnold debate to bed, as he's answered every question so far in the biggest game of his life.

That's how fine the margins are. A blown coverage and a fumble and it's a 14-point swing. Rams are really up against it now and exactly where Seattle's pass rush want them

Los Angeles Rams 20-24 Seattle Seahawks - third quarter

Jaxon Smith-Njigba is so dangerous when he gets the ball in the open field, so when the quick pass goes out to him and he's got Cooper Kupp blocking for him it spells trouble for the Rams as he takes off on a nice run to the 20.

This really is breathless offensive football right now - both sides just slicing through the defences.

Mark in Norwich (00:53) may be a Rams fan, but I still appreciate the dedication to a team for random reasons. I'm a Seahawks fan up at 1:20 unable to sleep because of following a team Martin Crane followed in Frasier... I don't care what anyone says, the love is real for this team.

That's unbelievable from Davante Adams. He does a little wiggle-wiggle then goes back to the corner and when you have an accurate, precise passer, all you need is a little bit of leverage to make the outside throw.

He had a sideline throw last week to Davante against Chicago last week in overtime which was absurd. Their chemistry throughout the entire season has been magnificent.

Wow JSN. This game is living up to all my expectations. Elite players on both sides of the ball. I'm calling 27-27 and overtime. Both teams so evenly matched with great coaching staff as well. 2nd half is going to be epic.

And it is Davante Adams who takes the catch for an immediate and devastating response from Matthew Stafford.

That's an absolutely huge drive from Stafford and the Rams, as they go 75 yards in just four plays and just 2:21 off the clock to effectively erase that special teams blunder as the deficit is back down to four.

Davante Adams gets in on the act again with another big gain, this time 29 yards to advance all the way down to the Seattle two-yard line - almost an amazing touchdown but sets them up right on the goal line.

Watch out for Adams again now.
