A nice completion to Jaxon Smith-Njigba but then is almost picked off as he launches a dangerous throw in betweenteen a lot of Rams defenders - but lucky for him none of them can haul it in.

I am loving this game, I really am. The coaches, the play-calling. Both quarterbacks will make plays when they get the opportunities. This is fantastic.

We've just got 54 second on the clock here but Sam Darnold as three time out in his pocket so although they're back on their own 26 they'll be looking for points here.

  4. Rams puntpublished at 00:56 GMT 26 January

Los Angeles Rams 13-10 Seattle Seahawks - second quarter

Third down for the Rams but the pass is broken up by rookie Nick Emmanwori, who has been all over the field so far and loved that play against Puka Nacua.

He's bouncing off the field, even jawing at Matthew Stafford as the two cross paths. Oh the confidence of youth...

The Rams have done a really nice job of just staying in the game then they get a stop and put a drive together. They've managed this first half perfectly.

As a Rams fan who supported them based on them playing in the same colours as Chelsea and having a great team on Madden 2001...this is now a love affair that keeps me up until the witching hour....shame the White, Blue and Yellow Pacers aren't as good!

Los Angeles Rams 13-10 Seattle Seahawks - second quarter

The Rams defence stands firm, but only thanks to a drop by George Holani, who is playing in place of the injured Zach Charbonnet today - a man who's been crucial on third down this season.

Holani was slow out of his break and Sam Darnold's pass came whizzing at him at speed and bounced off his shoulder. So Seattle have to punt with still 90 seconds left in the half.

People quite rightly giving Darnold the credit he deserves both this season and last. But the Rams deserve a lot of credit for paying a big price to move on from Goff, who was good enough to get them *to* a Super Bowl but not good enough to *win* one...

That super impressive Rams drive took thenm 87 yards in 12 plays and chewed up well over seven minutes of clock, which not only helped LA into the lead but also gave the defence a really good breather ahead of this next Seattle possession.

Obviously you want to maintain possession, slow the game down and rest your defence but what Sean McVay does so well is - he gives you the same look over and over but does different things off of them.

Maybe the Seahawks were looking at Davante Adams - they definitely weren't looking at Kyren Williams who ran out of the backfield and into acres of space to collect the Matthew Stafford pass and stroll into the end zone.

A three receiver set out to the left and they all sprinted across the field to the right, taking all the defenders with them and also blocking up the middle of the field for the safeties who'd be on the lookout for Williams sneaking out through the line of scrimmage.

Such a well drawn-up play that one, as it has Sean McVay grinning on the sideline.

Los Angeles Rams 6-10 Seattle Seahawks - second quarter

The Rams looking set to run a second down play, but we hit the two-minute warning just before the snap so we'll take a short break in the action as both sides have a little think about things.

Could be a crucial sequence here, as the Rams really need to punch this one in, even take out the scoreboard, for their confidence it'd be a big blow if they fell short again.

    Look out for Davante Adams....

The Rams needed a long drive to settle the defensive unit a little bit and they have done it by running the ball.

Their ability to run the ball has been exceptional on this drive.

Kyren Williams barrels through the line of scrimmage to convert on third and short as the Rams progress to just outside the 10-yard line.

Los Angeles Rams 6-10 Seattle Seahawks - second quarter

Another big gain by Puka Nacua as he takes a 21-yard catch over the middle from Matthew Stafford - the Seattle defence converges on him like a pack of hyenas but he's got some of the strongest hands in the game and there's no way they;re ripping the ball from him.

This Seattle defence hadn't allowed a 20-yard play in their past three games, they've already allowed three in this half.

Sam Darnold went 14-3 with the Vikings last year. 14-3 this year with the Seahawks. He does not get enough credit, he is elite. This is his year. GO SEAHAWKS!

Really strong running by Blake Corum as he gets the first down after two bruising runs right in the mixer in among that aggressive Seattle front.

That really helps to shut this crowd up as the noise just drops when the Rams get the first down. They soon pipe up again though...
