  1. First down!published at 01:01 GMT 18 January

Buffalo Bills 30-30 Denver Broncos - overtime

Josh Allen with a simple short pass to Ray Davis and thanks to a block by Dalton Kincaid he manages to get to the line to secure the first down.

They're out to the Buffalo 37 now with eight minutes on the clock. And they only need a field goal to win now after Denver drew a blank.

We'll have another third down after all sorts of goings on for no yards. Josh Allen almost sacked but flips a dangerous pass out to James Cook who is tackled immediately.

Risky business from Allen but that's his game.

  3. Big conversionpublished at 00:57 GMT 18 January

Buffalo Bills 30-30 Denver Broncos - overtime

Big time conversion on third down as Josh Allen steps up and finds Dalton Kincaid for 13 yards. Denver hardly rushed anyone then and Allen had all kinds of time - the hope was to box the quarterback in short of the line to gain but they couldn't cover his top target.

Josh Allen turns a loss into a four-yard gain through brute strength - there's a hint of a hold in the end zone which would have won Denver the game but the Bills get away with it.

Buffalo start on their own eight after a belter of a punt - I don't know why more punters don't go for the touchline much like they do in rugby - field position is crucial in the play-offs.

Buffalo Bills 30-30 Denver Broncos - overtime

Denver have to kick the ball away after failing to convert on third and long - Courtland Sutton had the chance to take a low diving catch but he let the ball squirm free.

Sutton also dropped a pass two plays before that was highly catchable - those two drops could spell the end for Denver as Josh Allen is back on the field.

Buffalo Bills 30-30 Denver Broncos - overtime

Buffalo win the toss and will kick it to Denver - that's the right choice for me as with both teams having a possession it means the Bills can see what the Broncos do and change their game accordingly.

Denver just have to go for it and maybe face a decision later about kicking a field goal or not, but when Josh Allen takes to the turf he'll know exactly what he needs.

Allen is 0-2 in play-off overtime games.

What a finish! A great fightback from Buffalo but arguably an even better one from Bo Nix after managing to overcome that lull and interception to battle back.

Leaving 55 seconds on the clock was the only mistake Nix made as Josh Allen then did Josh Allen things to force overtime.

    Who do you fancy now?

The kick is good! Matt Prater with a bullet that splits the uprights and the former Broncos kicker silences Mile High and we're likely heading to overtime.

Third down with 16 second left and Josh Allen fires towards Dawson Knox over the middle but the pas sis just out of reach when it would've been a touchdown.

Matt Prater then runs out for a 50-yarder to force overtime with 10 seconds left.

Sean Payton ices him by calling a time out to let the 41-year-old kicker think about it a bit longer.

Josh Allen does go for the touchdown towards Brandin Cooks but the ball sails over his head and it drops out of bounds.

    Just 19 seconds left.

  14. Trick playpublished at 00:39 GMT 18 January

Buffalo Bills 27-30 Denver Broncos - fourth quarter

A hook and ladder! A massive trick play from Bills offensive coordinator Joe Brady and they get 27 yards and well into field goal range now.

But Josh Allen will surely take a shot at the end zone...

Denver jump offside to hand Josh Allen a fresh set of downs, and move the ball to the Buffalo 41. Already closing in on field goal range even for old man Matt Prater...

I remember the Bills threepeat - making the Super Bowl three years in a row back in the 90s and losing all three. If any underdog deserves to win a Super Bowl, it's the Bills

Brandin Cooks takes a brilliant catch down the sideline but he's just out of bounds so it's a third down and one. 37 seconds left.

As soon as Buffalo cornerback Dante Jackson comes in, Sean Payton dials up a double move. To be that aware that Tre'Davious White is out, to take a shot at Jackson, Denver have been so situationally aware. That is high-level coaching, a high-level throw and a high-level catch. That's how you win in the play-offs.

Right then, 50 ticks on the clock, three time outs for Buffalo and Josh Allen straps on his Superman cape and gets to work - firstly with an outrageous flick forward to Dalton Kincaid just as he's about to get sacked.

Wow! Bo Nix goes for it all at once with a beautifully floated ball over the should of Marvin Mims speeding into the corner of the end zone for a 26-yard touchdown.

Mims is usually the return guy but needs must and he took that catch brilliantly on the run - it was some throw from Nix as well.

The only downside for Denver is that there's still 55 seconds on the clock and the guy on the other sideline is pretty handy in the fourth quarter.
