Tampa Bay Buccaneers 20-23 Carolina Panthers
Ryan Fitzgerald is money again from 48 yards as Carolina put their marker down and challenge Baker Mayfield to try and win this game in the closing stages.
Tampa Bay have two timeouts remaining, plus the two-minute warning which i coming up shortly so time isn't an issue - this Panthers defence is though...

I cannot handle anymore New York Giants football, this is turgid. Then again, it's largely been like this since Tom Coughlin was forced out 10 years ago.
Nick Hughes, Wirral
At least you could have a consolation this year Nick. The team that finishes with the worst record get the first pick in the draft.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers 20-20 Carolina Panthers
The Bucs kick it away and now Bryce Young is the one producing the big plays as he launches a 43-yard ball down the righr sideline for Jalen Coker to move the chains for the Panthers.
Carolina have the ball on the Tampa 33 with just over two minutes left in the game. Tense finish incoming.
Garrett within half sack of NFL recordpublished at 20:35 GMT 21 December 2025

Buffalo Bills 23-17 Cleveland Browns
Myles Garrett may well be unaware of this but he's moved within a half-sack of the NFL's single-season record.
Right before half-time, the Browns' defence had Josh Allen running for cover and the Bills quarterback slipped as he retreated into his own end zone. Allen only avoided a safety by reaching out to put the ball beyond the goal-line, as Garrett and Alex Wright both got a hand to him to complete the tackle.
Wright was initially awarded the sack but there's been a scoring update in Cleveland as it's now been shared between Garrett and Wright. Garrett moves to 22 sacks this season so just one more will give him the outright record.
Yards have to tough to come by for Baker Mayfield but he finally gets a big play to get Tampa out of trouble with a big 40-yard bomb down the middle for Emeka Egbuka.
The rookie takes a smart diving catch, his first of the day, to move the chains. Which way will this one go? Thumbs up for Bucs, down for Panthers.

Kansas City Chiefs 9-23 Tennessee Titans
A pretty beleaguered Chiefs team now just allows Tyjae Spears to race into the end zone untouched from four yards out to put the lowly Titans well in charge now.
Looks like a pretty sad ending to the season coming up for KC.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers 20-20 Carolina Panthers
Chase McLaughlin manages to nail a 50 yarder to level us up at 20-20 in this huge game of the early window with just over 11 minutes left in the match.
The Bucs have dominated time of possession having had the ball for 11 minutes more than the Panthers, but they've come up against a tough defensive unit, especially the pass defence as Baker Mayfield has just 73 yards so far.

Kansas City Chiefs 9-16 Tennessee Titans
Harrison Butker trims the lead thanks to an easy 27-yard field goal.
Chris Oladokun goes over 100 yards passing on that drive and hasn't done too bad at all given the situation. It's a huge opportunity this with radner Minshew out and obviously Patrick Mahomes injured.
