The Jaguars mean business today as Trevor Lawrence finds tight end Brenton Strange for Jacksonville's second touchdown of the game.

Eight plays for 59 yards on another impressive drive for the Jags, considering the defence they're going up against in their own backyard.

  2. touchdown

    Touchdown - Raiderspublished at 22:15 GMT 21 December 2025

Las Vegas Raiders 7-7 Houston Texans

I've talked that one into fruition, haven't I?

We've got our first offensive touchdown and it's gone to the Raiders, would you believe?

Geno Smith fires a dart to his tight end Brock Bowers who brings in his seventh touchdown of the season.

    We're all tied up.

  3. field goal

    Pittsburgh Steelers 3-3 Detroit Lions

We're level in Detroit thanks to Jake Bates as he hits from 36 yards away. Don't expect kicks from as far away as those in Denver though!

Wil Lutz is on target this time - drilling an effort home from 54 yards. Kickers are able to hit from further out in general these days, but it's literally a different ball game at altitude at Mile High.

With Cam Little currently holding the NFL record with 68 yards watch out here as we could be on for something even longer here today.

The Texans go three-and-out again with the Raiders defence just all over CJ Stroud.

It's been a long first quarter in Houston if it's offensive football you're after.

  6. touchdown

    Touchdown - Falconspublished at 22:04 GMT 21 December 2025

    Atlanta Falcons 10-13 Arizona Cardinals

What a drive from the Falcons and that is all Bijan Robinson.

First, he sets them up in the redzone with a powerful 30-yard catch and run and in the fresh set of downs he's picked out again by Kirk Cousins and rushes home for six.

That's a drive that will please fantasy managers up and down the country...

Away from that pick six from Derek Stingley Jr, there hasn't been much to write home about in Houston.

Both offences have struggled to get going in the first quarter.

Ashton Jeanty failing to make the line to gain on a third and one and then the Raiders opting to punt instead of go for it about sums it up so far.

  8. field goal

A 51-yard attempt from Chad Ryland is right down the middle and stretches the Cardinals lead to 10 early in the second quarter.

  9. touchdown

    Jacksonville Jaguars 7-7 Denver Broncos

Bo Nix with a fade to the corner for Courtland Sutton to take in a 15-yard touchdown catch and tie this one up at Mile High.

That's a seventh touchdown catch of the season for Sutton, who has 53 yards already on four catches including that scoring drive - which started with tight end Evan Engram going on a nice 33-yard catch and run.

    Game on!

Just one catch for six yards today for Travis Kelce - the Chiefs are out of the play-offs, his star QB is sidelined and may not even start next season and the team look in a mess.

He'll play two more games this season, but will he retire after that? He's 36 now and has plenty going on off the field, so let us know what you think he'll do - thumbs up for play on and thumbs down for retire.

    Pittsburgh Steelers 3-0 Detroit Lions

Pittsburgh's defence stands firm backed up on their own goal line, with Dan Campbell unsurprisingly going for it on fourth down but Jared Goff unable to find an open receiver.

Jahmyr Gibbs was stuffed on an earlier run and even some tricky handling from Goff to Amon-Ra St Brown didn't fool this visiting defence.

    Great stand.

What!? Trevor Lawrence has somehow managed to thread the needle to find Parker Washington for a 12-yard touchdown pass to put the Jags ahead in stunning fashion.

Denver have the best red zone defence in the league but Lawrence looked poised and confident during the drive, with the touchdown throw brilliantly executed.

  15. Big hit!published at 21:40 GMT 21 December 2025

    Jacksonville Jaguars 0-0 Denver Broncos

Ouch! Trevor Lawrence was almost cut in half by a huge hit by the Broncos - made worse by the fact he'd stopped playing after a whistle but Denver most definitely did not.

He's up and about now but he'll feel that one in the morning.

  16. touchdown

    Touchdown - Texanspublished at 21:39 GMT 21 December 2025

Las Vegas Raiders 0-7 Houston Texans

The Texans defence strikes again - it's a pick six!

Geno Smith rolls out on play action and looks for his receiver but can only find the grateful grasp of Derek Stingley Jr who takes it all the way home for his first NFL touchdown.

  17. field goal

Field goal - Steelerspublished at 21:38 GMT 21 December 2025

Chris Boswell is among the best in the game and he drills a brilliant effort from 59 yards out to put Pittsburgh in front.

  18. Doink!published at 21:34 GMT 21 December 2025

    Jacksonville Jaguars 0-0 Denver Broncos

Wil Lutz is off target for Denver as he hits a field goal attempt that's off to the right and not drawing - it looks like it's bang at the upright from the moment it leaves his foot and he hears the dreaded 'doink' as it smacks against the frame of the goal.

  19. touchdown

    Touchdown - Cardinalspublished at 21:33 GMT 21 December 2025

    Atlanta Falcons 0-10 Arizona Cardinals

    This is an incredible touchdown.

After a coach's challenge, the Cardinals have added six on the board and it's that man Michael Wilson who cannot stop scoring.

Jacoby Brissett launches a pass down field and Wilson comes up with it in the endzone. It was initially ruled incomplete but after review, it shows the ball never hits the floor. It bounces off the defender's back, back onto Wilson who comes up with it.

I'm aware that description hasn't done it justice - you have to watch it if you get the chance.

FT: Minnesota Vikings 16-13 New York Giants

NFL Have Your SayImage source, Getty Images

True, BBC NFL team. The only benefit for the Giants is being able to auction the number 1 pick for a quarterback-needy franchise in a trade. But the ineptitude is off the charts. I'm clearly paying for my fandom starting with two, but really one, Super Bowl in XLII and XLVI.

More penalty yards than passing yards...I love the New York Giants being unique. Next week versus the Raiders in the toilet bowl to decide the first pick in the draft...who wants to lose the most?

    Nick Hughes, Wirral

The Giants' defeat to the Vikings mean they and the Raiders are the only teams on two wins this season.
