Pittsburgh Steelers 12-10 Detroit Lions
Aaron Rodgers powers a sweet side arm into DK Metcalf for a touchdown, but the flags are out and it's against Darnell Washington as the big man ran into a Lions defender.
Big shame for Pittsburgh as that was an excellent throw by Rodgers.
Latest scores - Raiders win would have huge play-off impactpublished at 23:31 GMT 21 December 2025

There are plenty of NFL teams currently watching these three scorelines as, if Jacksonville, Pittsburgh and Las Vegas all hang on, it would see six teams clinch play-off spots.
In particular, the Raiders going in front against the Texans has made people sit up and take notice as a Houston defeat alone would punch the post-season ticket for four teams.

Pittsburgh Steelers 12-10 Detroit Lions
Aaron Rodgers is looking great here driving the Steelers down the field, even getting out for a scamper himself while also hitting Scotty Miller on a fourth down and third down conversion to keep the chains moving.
It's not quite classic Rodgers but he's moving it nicely as they get into the red zone.

Jacksonville Jaguars 31-17 Denver Broncos
Massive error from Bo Nix as he fumbles the ball during a potential hand-off to his running back, and this Jags defence doesn't need a second invitation to go and dive on the ball and regain possession.
A really cheap turnover that by Denver and could be huge depending on what Jacksonville do with it now.

Where the Steelers offence let the team down with the Darnell Washington fumble, the defence steps up and gets a two-point safety thanks to Kyle Dugger getting the sack on Jared Goff in Detroit's own end zone.

The Jaguars stretch their surprise lead in Denver thanks to Travis Etienne Jr scoring on a 10-yard touchdown pass from Trevor Lawrence.
After the Jags defence force yet another punt, this drive is highlighted by a brilliant 63-yard catch and run from Parker Washington, before Lawrence and Etienne finished it off.
Huge blow for Pittsburgh as Darnell Washington has fumbled the ball under pressure as he rumbled towards the end zone with the Lions picking up the loose ball.
So from closing in on a touchdown all of a sudden the Steelers come away empty handed as Aaron Rodgers trudges off the field.
If Bills reach play-offs, would they be favourites for AFC Championship?published at 23:11 GMT 21 December 2025

I wouldn't have the Bills winning two road games. If they don't win the AFC East, the idea of going into three different cities in three straight weeks. I wouldn't have them coming out of there. That's why winning the division is so important.
Denver and New England could be the one and two seeds, and I don't think we can rule out Jacksonville now. If they stay on this heater and win their last three games, they're a 13-4 team and they're going to be talked about.

Those wins for the Chargers and Bills earlier mean they now have better records than the Jaguars, but they remain in the fifth and seeds as they do not lead their division.
Buffalo are hoping to catch New England and the Patriots play later against the Baltimore Ravens, who are currently outside the play-off spots as they are behind the Pittsburgh Steelers in the AFC North.
Is AFC play-off stage set for Allen and Lawrence?published at 23:08 GMT 21 December 2025

It's been tough for Trevor Lawrence in the AFC because Josh Allen and Lamar Jackson are both going to the Hall of Fame. Neither's played in the Super Bowl yet. Justin Herbert hasn't won a play-off game yet and he's excellent.
It's a long list of quarterbacks that haven't been able to really do much because Patrick Mahomes has been so dominant, and Tom Brady was before him.

The crowd is absolutely howling after that flag, but Trevor Lawrence ignores it all to waltz into the end zone on the quarterback keeper and score the go-ahead touchdown himself.
The boos are deafening but Lawrence hasn't taken a backward step so far - so impressive.

You just have to see games sometimes to judge players, not just the box score, as this little series shows as Trevor Lawrence shows all kinds of leadership, character and of course talent.
He's blasted but the sack is erased by the refs who don't like a body weight slam by the Broncos defender.
It's loud, very loud, in Denver but Lawrence then completes a crucial third down to Parker Washington before later firing into the end zone and getting a pass interference call.
