The Chiefs were trying to heat up Dak Prescott but he delivered. He still found a way to make the throw.
The Cowboys' confidence is real. They're starting to see things that they saw on film.

Wow - quick strike right up the middle as Malik Davis tiptoes through a hole in the middle of the Chiefs defensive line and then turns on the afterburners to beat two defenders desperately trying to get a hand on him and scampers away for a 43-yard touchdown.
Dak Prescott delivered a couple of crucial completions under a lot of pressure on that super impressive drive - going 85 yards in just eight plays and just under three minutes.
Cowboys go ahead for the first time in the game and seem to have all the momentum as we near half-time.

Another great completion just when Dallas needed it, with Dak Prescott just about to get collared by Chris Jones but manages to sling a pass to Jake Ferguson again for the first down out to around the 30.
Then a rinse and repeat job for Dak as he gets another quick throw away to George Pickens this time. Dallas really are loaded with receiving talent.

First punt of the game after the Chiefs just play it safe with a screen pass on third down needing 26 yards to move the chains following the sack.
It's basically a play to just gain a few yards with the hope of a few more if defenders miss a block, but the Cowboys are solid enough.

Might have been a bit of the sun again shining in Mahomes' eyes, because he held the ball for so long you'd think he'd have found a target to throw to or would at least just throw it away and avoid losing yards.

Travis Kelce has still got moves, as he drops a shoulder to get himself open so Patrick Mahomes can complete a 22-yard pass into the sunlight at AT&T Stadium around midfield.

After following the Chiefs for over 30 years and just hoping to make it past the wildcard round, we’ve had 3 once-in-a-lifetime events in the last few years. Strangely this team feels it has more potential than the one from last year. Mind you, I thought our best side of recent years is the one that fell to the Bengals in the AFC Championship.

Dak Prescott missed a couple of throws on that drive, but that was the right decision [to take the field goal]. You've got to get some points on the board.

Brandon Aubrey just looks like it's a chip shot as he plants a field goal through the uprights from 49 yards out.
Kickers are built differently these days in the NFL, and Aubrey has one of the biggest and most accurate legs in the game.

Dallas go for it on fourth down and Dak Prescott has an easy throw out to tight end Jake Ferguson to move the sticks as the Chiefs brought a loads of pressure in his face - but when you bring pressure you need to get their quickly or you'll leave holes in behind.

Two Dak Prescott passes results in 30 yards gained by Dallas already. It's really impressive stuff this Cowboys passing game that's buzzing right now and looking tough to slow down.

And according to Sky Sports, the Cowboys were worried there'd be more red jerseys in the crowd than white, silver and blue.

This feels like a championship atmosphere. It is live in here.

The Chiefs lead at the end of the first in what's shaping up to be a shootout in Texas - as Dak Prescott will no doubt come out slinging it again when we return.
Two touchdown passes already for Patrick Mahomes and also a crucial scramble as well as he carries on the form he showed on Sunday, looking a lot more like the two-time MVP.

What a dirve, that's how you put it together. You're feeding everybody and showing exactly what you're going to do today.

Image source, ReutersYou see - forget this wildcat nonsense, stick to what you know, stick to what works - and down near the goal line it's Patrick Mahomes throwing to Travis Kelce.
He's getting on a bit, but few players are as good at getting open in the end zone as Kelce, who takes a great catch under pressure for a sixth touchdown grab of the season and an 85th of his career with the Chiefs - the most in team history.

Almost a huge error as Rashee Rice takes the direct snap from the wildcat and races towards the end zonem but the ball pops out in a tackle.
Luckily it goes out of bounds at the two - as if that bobbled into the end zone then it'd be a touchback.
Not sure about the plan of not giving Patrick Mahomes the ball in this situation...
Kansas City Chiefs 7-7 Dallas Cowboys
Patrick Mahomes is not the quickest runner, but he's shifty enough and he's also tough to bring down, as he takes off on a 16-yard scramble to ge into the red zone.
The Chiefs are basically playing play-off football with their current record so Mahomes is leaving nothing in the tank to try and drag them into the post-season.

However, the Chiefs try another trick play to get Xavier Worthy involved, but it's quite a static give from Patrick Mahomes so no momentum with the receiver at all as he's stuffed for a loss.
