Guess what? A flag on the play against the Chiefs - over 100 yards worth of penalties today for Kansas City. The offensive line this time failing, as it has so often for Patrick Mahomes.

Patrick Mahomes produced a sparkling comerback on Sunday, but it's not going his way right now, with Dak Prescott making all the clutch plays for Dallas to get them back in front.

Penalties have been killing the Chiefs - extending the Cowboys drives and stunting their own. Can Mahomes drag his side back into this?

Dak Prescott got the ball to George Pickens and he came through. You're looking for a spark so you've got to get it to your play-maker.

The wherewithal to keep your eyes down the field, that was precious from Prescott.

George Pickens loves the fact he's playing with Dak Prescott.

Dak Prescott takes off on the run, but instead of lowering the shoulder and going for it he flicks a pass to Javonte Williams at the last second.

Dalls go for two and after another run-about Prescott finds George Pickens in the corner of the end zone to extend the lead to seven.

George Pickens with a quick slant, a catch and he's brought down on the three - it seems like no time at all but they're knocking on the door.

It is third down though, so if they don't punch it in there's a big decision to make.

That was insane. George Pickers is so smooth, so talented.

I haven't done that in a week or two!

Kansas City Chiefs 21-20 Dallas Cowboys

George Pickens what have you done! He takes a short pass from Dak Prescott and turns it into a magical 39-yard gain via a leap up and over the defender - the ultimate high hurdle!

  9. Another flag...published at 00:15 GMT 28 November 2025

Kansas City Chiefs 21-20 Dallas Cowboys

Trent McDuffie gets flagged again for pass interference on CeeDee Lamb but this one looks more than a little soft again - in fact on second viewing it's a great contest between the two and there really shouldn't be a flag on that one, let the guys play ref!

There's nothing on this play, no-one's open. This is backyard football, and no-one's better at that than Patrick Mahomes.

Wouldn't you just know it! Patrick Mahomes looks to be going nowhere as he's hunted down by the Dallas pass rush, but he somehow finds a pass to a leaping Rashee Rice to bring it in for the touchdown.

Mahomes wheeling away to his left makes the throw even harder, throwing back across his body, but it's up there for Rice to go get it - and he makes no mistake.

Eight catches, 92 yards and two touchdowns for Rice in the game as the Chiefs get their noses in front.

  13. Chiefs going for it....published at 00:08 GMT 28 November 2025

Kansas City Chiefs 14-20 Dallas Cowboys

Patrick Mahomes launches it at Rashee Rice but it's over his head, maybe a slight hold by the defender but no flag.

The offence is staying out there, they're going for it on fourth down...

It's all about Patrick Mahomes, extending the play. We're at the stage of the game where it's about players, not plays.

You've seen how the opposition adjust to your plays and now you're trying to get the right players to fit those plays.

  15. End of third quarterpublished at 00:06 GMT 28 November 2025

Kansas City Chiefs 14-20 Dallas Cowboys

Rashee Rice is tackled on the Dallas three, and is almost stripped of the ball by the Cowboys defence as he falls to the ground.

The Chiefs keep it, but when the fourth quarter starts they'll face a huge moment of the match, and maybe their season, with a third down three yards from the end zone.

Can they punch it in? Will they go for it on fourth down if they don't? Should they kick a field goal if they fail on third down?

So many questions, stand by for the answers.

  16. First and goalpublished at 00:04 GMT 28 November 2025

Kansas City Chiefs 14-20 Dallas Cowboys

A 22-yard gain from Kareen Hunt then another good catch from Rashee Rice over the middle puts the Chiefs inside the 10.

A great bit of disguise on the pace from Mahomes, who shaped up to throw the quick screen out wide but just changed his arm angle at the last minute to fire it inside on the slant.

Yet another game of the Chiefs playing poorly but staying in the game. They were masters at winning these games but not this season. They need a W today though, 6-6 is a deep hole for December.

Rashee Rice was key in the Chiefs comeback on Sunday in the fourth quarter, and he's trying his best here as he takes a great catch on the run from Patrick Mahomes for 28 yards.

That's the biggest pass play of the game for KC.

Chiefs coach Andy Reid said at half-time that his team needs to stop giving away penalties.

Well that's already three since the interval, costing a total of 47 yards.

  20. field goal

Field goal - Cowboyspublished at 23:56 GMT 27 November 2025

Kansas City Chiefs 14-20 Dallas Cowboys

Dallas line up to go for it on fourth down but it's just a ploy to get the Chiefs to jump offside, but the discipline is good from the visitors.

So Brandon Aubrey comes out to boot a 36 yarder, which is a walk in the park for him as he's made 28 kicks in a row from inside the 50.

    The lead is six.
