  1. Touchdown? Nopepublished at 23:52 GMT 27 November 2025

Kansas City Chiefs 14-17 Dallas Cowboys

Dallas think they've scored a touchdown through Jake Ferguson at the back of the end zone, but they're taking a look at the video replay as it doesn't appear he's got both feet down in bounds.

This one will be coming back...and it is chalked off as we thought.

  2. Chiefs coming apartpublished at 23:51 GMT 27 November 2025

Kansas City Chiefs 14-17 Dallas Cowboys

KaVontae Turpin breaks off a 25-yard run right after the penalty, before another flag comes in for the dreaded pass interference, and that costs the Chiefs a huge 32 yards as Trent McDuffie was called for getting in the way of CeeDee Lamb.

One of those tough ones where McDuffie doesn't really grab or hold Lamb, just gets in his way as he turns for the ball, so a bit soft, but the refs are calling them all tonight.

  3. Flagpublished at 23:46 GMT 27 November 2025

Kansas City Chiefs 14-17 Dallas Cowboys

Another penalty really hurts the Chiefs as a hold relieves the pressure on Dak Prescott with a first down and a move away from his own end zone.

Kansas City haven't given away too many penalties, but they've been momentum killers.

  4. Chiefs punt againpublished at 23:42 GMT 27 November 2025

Kansas City Chiefs 14-17 Dallas Cowboys

It's a fourth straight punt for the Chiefs as Patrick Mahomes overthrows Rashee Rice on third down - it's fourth and four this time and Andy Reid isn't rolling the dice as the offence is just a little off right now after a good start.

That's a result for Dallas as Harrison Butker was nearly in range - he still could've tried a 62-yarder but the Chiefs have decided to play safe and lean on the defence.

Let's see if it works against this top NFL offence in Dallas...

  5. First downpublished at 23:41 GMT 27 November 2025

Kansas City Chiefs 14-17 Dallas Cowboys

Jared Wiley takes a rare catch in the NFL to extend the drive as Andy Reid decides to go for it on fourth down.

AT&T Stadium is such a wonderful venue, but that sun is an issue, you'd think they'd have know where the sun was when they built it.

I wouldn't fancy trying to catch a high ball with defenders racing down at you...

Both these teams need this game and it's going to come down to these two guys.

It's Dak versus Patrick, and in some ways your future comes down to this second half.

  8. Three and outpublished at 23:35 GMT 27 November 2025

Kansas City Chiefs 14-17 Dallas Cowboys

Job done for the Chiefs as Dallas run three plays but fail to move the chains so they too have to punt in a cagey start to the second half.

It's a huge boot from Bryan Anger meaning Kansas City will take over back on their own 37 - decent field position still for Patrick Mahomes, whi is still fuming on the sidelines after that controversial penalty against Xavier Worthy on the last drive.

The Chiefs are a championship organisation. They know how to battle back in good time.

  10. Great punt coveragepublished at 23:29 GMT 27 November 2025

Kansas City Chiefs 14-17 Dallas Cowboys

A fairly dodgy penalty on the Chiefs negates a first down, so they have to punt it away after Patrick Mahomes takes a big hit on third down.

And I thought the refs all loved the Chiefs?

The punt is a great one and the coverage is even better, as the bal is downed around the three-yard line so Dak Prescott will be in his own end zone when he takes the field.

  11. I like our chances - Schottenheimerpublished at 23:28 GMT 27 November 2025

Kansas City Chiefs 14-17 Dallas Cowboys

Dallas Cowboys coach Brian Schottenheimer to CBS before the start of the second half: "We've got to keep attacking the ball, because we feel we're going to get the ball back.

"It's going to be a four-quarter battle, but we've got a lot of confidence and I like our chances."

And as for the Cowboys, after fighting back to beat Philadelphia last week, a win against the team the Eagles beat in last season's Super Bowl would really put them in the play-off hunt.

The Packers' win at Detroit earlier gives them the edge over the Lions and helps them keep the pressure on Chicago in the NFC North, with the Bears facing Philly on Black Friday.

This is why this game is crucial for the Chiefs. They're currently 10th in the standings for the AFC Conference and defeat would leave them two wins behind the Chargers, who second in the AFC West.

The difference is third downs. The Dallas have converted five of eight. That percentage is going to do them justice and allow them to grow.

  17. Chiefs' defence 'needs to get off the field'published at 23:09 GMT 27 November 2025

Kansas City Chiefs coach Andy Reid to CBS at half-time: "We've got to get rid of the penalties. We need to make a play in third-down situations and get off the field."

The Chiefs have conceded two penalties for 20 yards while the Dallas offence has converted five out of eight on third down.

THe teams go into the locker rooms for half-time with Dallas responding well to a difficult start - Dak Prescott throwing an early interception and the Chiefs scoring off it right away.

Prescott has been slinging the ball about since then, and they've got their noses in front as a couple costly penalties saw the last couple of Chiefs drives stall.

Dallas look dangerous from anywhere with their receiving corps, while Prescott has delivered in the tight spots - Patrick Mahomes has also played well but just hasn't been able to sustain drives as well.

Work do to for both sides in the second half.

  19. Flags & a Chiefs puntpublished at 23:02 GMT 27 November 2025

Kansas City Chiefs 14-17 Dallas Cowboys

Plenty of laundry on the field the last few plays with scrappy penalties disrupting the game - Patrick Mahomes wants a flag on a scramble after a hit but nothing doing.

The Chiefs will punt as they're just out of range for Harrison Butker. Just a few second left on the clock but enough for Dallas to run a play if they wish.

  20. First downpublished at 22:56 GMT 27 November 2025

Kansas City Chiefs 14-17 Dallas Cowboys

Patrick Mahomes has to take off again and scramble for the first down - which he gets as he usually does.
