If you don't know the script, the Cowboys are going to give the rock to CeeDee Lamb early. They had to answer and they did.

CeeDee Lamb answers back for the Dallas Cowboys as Dak Prescott levels things up with a 15-yard pass to his star receiver.

It's a stellar drive for Lamb, who converts three third downs including this one for a touchdown, and the gameplan is clear for the Cowboys - throw, throw, throw the ball, then throw it some more.

With George Pickens on the other side the Chiefs have their hands full trying to cover these receivers, and what's painfully clear for them so far is that t hey just can't live with Lamb in man coverage.

Micah Parsons is an absolute beast! One more time…..Thank you Jerry

    Jon, Bournemouth

Who's going to have the last laugh then? Hit thumbs up if you think the Packers will make a deep play-off run, or thumbs down if you reckon the Cowboys can still reach the play-offs despite owner Jerry Jones' decision to trade Parsons.

  6. Almost picked again!published at 21:54 GMT 27 November 2025

Kansas City Chiefs 7-0 Dallas Cowboys

Wow! Dak Prescott is almost intercepted again as Nick Bolton cuts in front of CeeDee Lamb and gets two hands on the ball, but it pops out when contact is made with the Dallas wideout.

Dak just carries on dealing though and fires a ball to Lamb on the very next play, whi this time is wide open for the first down.

With Lamb and George Pickens Dallas have two of the best receivers in the league in the same team, so it makes sense for Prescott to just let it fly tonight and see how far they can go.

  7. Too many Chiefs?published at 21:53 GMT 27 November 2025

Kansas City Chiefs 7-0 Dallas Cowboys

Too many Chiefs and not enough Cowboys - it's almost a saying - but it's the worry for Dallas officials with vast numbers of Kansas City fans inside Jerryworld tonight for the game.

There's plenty of noise for the visitors and Patrick Mahomes in particular, who grew up and also went to college in Texas.

  8. First downpublished at 21:51 GMT 27 November 2025

Right then, Dak Prescott just needs to settle a bit and he gets a first down with a throw to KaVontae Turpin - who is about as rapid as they come.

What a start! The Kansas City Chiefs defence has literally just sat down on the bench and already they're back up as Patrick Mahomes takes just two plays to lead a touchdown with a 27-yard pass to Rashee Rice.

Whether the Chiefs are at the top of their game or not, one thing you absolutely can't do is give Mahomes a short field - but even for him, covering those 37 yards in just two plays to score was remarkable.

    Great start for KC!

  10. Interception!published at 21:44 GMT 27 November 2025

Kansas City Chiefs 0-0 Dallas Cowboys

Wow! Just the third snap of the game Dak Prescott is bamboozled by the blitz and throws the ball straight into the arms of Jaylen Watson.

  11. Kick-offpublished at 21:43 GMT 27 November 2025

Kansas City Chiefs 0-0 Dallas Cowboys

The Chiefs won the toss and deferred so Dak Prescott and the Cowboys get the ball first - remember Dallas were 21-0 down to the Eagles on Sunday before coming all the way back to win.

What can Dak generate early tonight?

The Kansas City Chiefs lost to the Chargers in the opening international game of the season in Brazil. They also staged events in the host city of every other international game this season - including Dublin and London - and could be playing there soon themselves.

And as well as playing in the second game of tonight's Thanksgiving triple-header, they'll be playing on Christmas Day too.

Chiefs co-owner Clark Hunt said earlier on Sky Sports: "We love the opportunity to play in prime-time whenever we can.

"We really leaned into the NFL's global markets programme and we hope we're back overseas very soon.

"The Cowboys may be known as 'America's Team' but we have an ambition to be the world's team."

Jordan Love spread the ball around more than he has since the Packers lost [tight end] Tucker Kraft to injury and he did it so well.

When they play like that he has a multitude of weapons and it's a tough offence to stop when they get rolling and get confidence.

The Dallas Cowboys have hosted on Thanksgiving since 1966, with this a 58th holiday game for America's Team - who hold a 34-22-1 record.

It's an 11th Thanksgiving game for the Kansas City Chiefs (5-5) and the first since 2006 - and the stakes could hardly be higher as it's a must-win for both sides.

They're both down in 10th spot in their respective Conference play-off standings so both the 6-5 Chiefs and 5-5-1 Cowboys have very little margin for error.

Big things are always expected of Dallas, while with the Chiefs making five of the last six Super Bowls, winning three, not making the play-offs would be a huge upset.

But someone's going to be fearing the worst come full-time.

Speaking to Erin Andrews of Fox, Parsons says "Jordan was on fire all night. We got a chance to finish the game and we did what we do best."

Game MVP Love added: "It's special. It's a big-time stage and to come out here and get a win, I'm grateful to all these guys. Now we've just got to keep rolling."

Unbelievable throw and catch off his back foot. He can't be any tighter to Wicks than that. What a catch to seal the game.

Good for the Packers, going on the road in a tight environment - they answered the bell.
