  6. Jess Glynne returns to the BBC Music Awards stagepublished at 20:57

    Jess Glynne

Last year Jess Glynne joined her friends Clean Bandit onstage to perform their Number 1 hit Rather Be. Now she's back to perform the smash hit Hold My Hand, one of her two singles to take the top spot this year, and she's being backed wonderfully by the BBC Concert Orchestra.

With that voice, it sounds like they'll be plenty more hits to come in 2016 and beyond...

  9. British Artist of the Year nominee: Ed Sheeranpublished at 20:54

We like to think that loop pedal troubadour Ed Sheeran was so chuffed with taking this award home last year that he’s been working extra hard to win the accolade again. Evidently however, his work ethic isn’t driven by the need to fill his (extensive) trophy cabinet, but by his fans, who he’s been delighting this year with his incredible solo live tour and enduringly catchy single Bloodstream.

  15. OMI brings the sunshine to Birminghampublished at 20:44

    Omi

OMI has been accompanied with some very glamorous backing dancers to perform his worldwide smash Cheerleader. Naturally, the crowd are bopping along with him, and playing with the gazillions of beach balls that have been released into the crowd.

To be honest, OMI is charming the socks off us, which may be why he's not wearing any himself. Conspiracy theory or hard fact? You decide.
