Stay tuned for all the gossip as the limousines roll up and spit out music's biggest names.
Welcome to the second BBC Music Awards!published at 12:00
We'll be here from 2:30, bringing you news directly from the red carpet before the star studded second BBC Music Awards begin.
You can hear live performances as they happen at Birmingham's Genting Arena on BBC Radio 1 from 4pm with Greg James today - listen by finding the episode in the live coverage tab above or, if you're feeling traditional, by switching on your radio. The big show will be on BBC One from 8pm, and again, you can watch it on this very page.
Throughout the day, we'll be sharing highlights from a very musical year, finding out some famous faces' favourite songs, and throwing back to last year's incredible performances.
