And we're under way in the bobsleigh.

There's a bit of a bump at the top of the course but it's a solid run from Johannes Lochner's Germany sled.

Their third run clocks in at 54.25 seconds, taking their overall time to 2:42.86.

Norway (specifically Johannes Hosflot Klaebo) dominated the men's cross-country skiing but in the women's, it's been all about Sweden.

They've won four golds out of five so far (finishing second to Norway in the 4 x 7.5km relay), including two for Frida Karlsson, and completed a 1-2 in three events from five.

Karlsson is the reigning world champion over 50km, with Norway's Heidi Weng finishing in second place. Weng has already won bronze in the 20km and gold in the relay.

Reigning Olympic champion (30km) Therese Johaug has retired but Jessie Diggins (USA), who took silver in Beijing, is still going strong and won 10km bronze at Milan-Cortina. The American intends to retire at the end of this season.

    Cross-country skiing - women's 50km mass start

The final cross-country skiing event of Milan-Cortina - the women's 50km mass start - is getting under way.

It's a simple concept. Everyone starts at the same time, with start positions determined by the Distance World Cup standings, and the first skier across the line wins the gold medal.

At the Olympics, races alternate between classic and freestyle and at this edition, the 50km race is in classic mode.

This is also the first time the women are racing over 50km at the Olympics, having previously competed over 30km.

    Four-man bobsleigh

I'm sure you're all experts in how this works now but here's a reminder of the four-man bobsleigh format.

24 sleds completed their first two runs down the track on Cortina on Saturday. There are two more runs on Sunday and the sled with the fastest overall time will win the gold medal.

Only the top 20 sleds will complete the fourth and final run, which is conducted in reverse order of the standings.
