Team GB's Bruce Mouat, speaking to BBC Sport after their loss against Switzerland: "We learn a lot from every game we play. Probably overthrows, that is the key learning for us, and we will come back in a couple of hours and play better against Italy."

On facing the Games hosts Italy later today: "Looking forward to it. The energy will be quite electric, and we will thrive off that. Looking forward to playing them and causing some drama in the stands, hopefully.

    Team GB

Team GB's Jen Dodds, speaking to BBC Sport after their loss against Switzerland: "Obviously, probably slightly disappointed with the performance. We kind of put ourselves against the wall a wee bit. I had a couple of overthrows with my first and that put us in bother.

"Going to correct that for the next game and I think weight control is going to be key out there. We're still in a good position.

"I think we are going to take the next game as a real opportunity to work on the things that we struggled with today, which is mostly weight control. Looking forward to getting back out there."

The lead is changing with every pair that goes out right now - but the home fans will hope it doesn't carry on that way.

He was more than three seconds quicker than previous leader Stijn van de Bunt of the Netherlands, who slips to third with Norway's Peder Konshaug not far behind Lorello.

Bruce Mouat and Jen Dodds were eager to preserve their 100% record, both to further stamp their authority on the competition and to ensure they have the hammer - the right to throw last - in Monday's semi (18:05 GMT) and in whichever medal match they find themselves in on Tuesday.

The British duo will have another chance to do both of those things when they conclude their round-robin matches against Italy at 18:05 - live on the BBC.
