At 15-30 down, Arthur Fery was facing the prospect of losing his serve again, immediately after pulling level.

But he's not going anywhere and wins three points in a row, including his fourth ace of the afternoon, to hold serve.

It's a good response from Fery. Dimitrov, who got the break, couldn't back it up with the service game. He'll be disappointed.

  3. Game and first set Fritzpublished at 18:53 BST 6 July

    Fritz 7-6 0-0 Bublik*

The first set heads to a tie-break where Taylor Fritz takes complete control in earning six set points.

The American sixth seed only needs two of them as Alexander Bublik is unable to return another big first serve.

Fritz won 94% of points on his first serve in that first set which shows the form he's in.

  4. Fery immediately breaks backpublished at 18:53 BST 6 July

    Dimitrov 5-7 6-3 6-4 2-2 Fery*

"Yes!" cries Arthur Fery as a sliced backhand from Dimitrov doesn't have the power to make it over and immediately after losing his serve, the Briton has made it all square again.

    Not over yet.

    *Dimitrov 5-7 6-3 6-4 2-1 Fery

Dimitrov plays one shot on his knees, only for Fery to open up the shoulders and find the line with a sweeping forehand, a shot that the Bulgarian applauds with his racquet.

Good defensive work then earns Fery a break point. This to get us back on serve in the fourth.

Fery is looking to try and mix up the first serve. That was a 92 miles an hour kicker. I'm not sure how effective that is going to be on a grass court.

Dimitrov continues to put the pressure on Fery's serve.

  7. Dimitrov breaks Fery servepublished at 18:46 BST 6 July

    *Dimitrov 5-7 6-3 6-4 2-1 Fery

Dimitrov now has a route to the quarter-finals. He could not take a break-point chance in the opening game of the fourth set, but this time gets it done in the third game.

A superb return of serve gives him the break. If he holds his serve from here on, he will be playing Italian ninth seed Flavio Cobolli in the quarter-finals.

An uphill task now for Arthur Fery.

Such a great return of serve from Fery. It was chip and charge, now it's crush and rush.

It's interesting to see Dimitrov's body language. Even though he's up two sets to one, a little bit of frustration kicking in.

The chances have been few and far between for Fery on the Dimitrov serve but he gets himself to deuce, only to then be passed with a blistering effort and then a smash to seal the game and make it 1-1.

    Fritz 6-5 Bublik*

Taylor Fritz continues to serve well as he races into a 40-0 lead but Alexander Bublik fights back with two points.

Frits steadies himself to secure the hold with a neat slice which Bublik can only slap into the net.

The Kazakhstani 10th seed must now serve to stay in the first set.

    Dimitrov 5-7 6-3 6-4 0-0 Fery*

In game one of set four, Arthur Fery is already trying to defend a break point. Big moment for Dimitrov...

But Fery sees it off with the second of two overhead smashes after Dimitrov had defended the first one. Deuce

  14. Dimitrov 'wrestled back the match'published at 18:35 BST 6 July

I think it was an edgy start from Dimitrov, he was edgy and sluggish. Fery had a lot of success at the start, rushing him at the net and not being afraid to play forward.

Dimitrov has been able to wrestle back the match from Fery with his backhand. I think now Dimitrov has settled into the match, he's a lot more comfortable playing on his terms. He knows what he needs to do to tackle the problems that Fery was bringing him.

Becky from Horsham contacted us via the Get Involved link on this live page with the following question:

Not to tempt fate, but… is this the longest the tournament has run without a rain delay yet?

We put the question to the All England Club and they've gone through their records to find the answer:

The 2019 Championships were free from rain interruptions.

This is absolutely the way that Dimitrov wants to be playing these big points. Big strong serve, then just ripping the ball away to the corner.

We're back on serve on Court One with Taylor Fritz recovering from that early break to edge ahead now in the first set against Alexander Bublik.

This first set is really moving along.

Grigor Dimitrov is now one set away and if Arthur Fery is to become only the sixth Briton to reach the men's quarter-finals in the Open Era then he will have to take this the distance.

Fery won the first set, Dimitrov has collected the next two to lead overall.

Arthur Fery doesn't seem to have the best serve however when he gets into a rally and starts moving around the court he really does shine.
