Eleven straight points for Flavio Cobolli, who has all the momentum at the moment as he races to 40-0.

The Italian misses an extravagant one-handed backhand down the line but sees out the game on the next point to level the score in the second set.

Alex de Minaur is on the back foot here.

Cobolli has got that extra bit of firepower when he needs it. It's so difficult for De Minaur to hold onto. But, he still has the lead.

  3. Cobolli breaks backpublished at 14:46 BST 6 July

    De Minaur 5-7 5-4 Cobolli*

Two winners from Flavio Cobolli gives the Italian hope at 0-30, before Alex de Minaur goes into the net after a deep return.

Three chances to break back for the Italian and he makes the count as De Minaur pulls a forehand long.

Cobolli roars as he gets back on serve in this second set.

Britain's Neal Skupski has a busy day ahead as he is currently in men's doubles action and will be playing in the mixed doubles later on.

His day has got off to a bad start as he and American Christian Harrison have just lost the first set tie-breaker 7-4 in their third-round tie against the pairing of Australia's Thanasi Kokkinakis and American Aleksandar Kovacevic.

Flavio Cobolli comes through a service game unscathed and now Alex de Minaur will serve for the second set.

Brilliant from Alexandra Eala. A big backhand return down the line to bring up two more break points.

Jasmine Paolini saves the first but Eala gets the next, controlling the rally before nailing another backhand winner.

An impressive start to the second set from the 29th seed from the Philippines.

One of the reasons Flavio Cobolli is a lot of fun to watch, beyond the obvious quality of his tennis, is that he does not attempt to hide his emotions.

That is particularly true when things aren’t quite going as he hoped.

Not for the first time, he stands with his hands on hips, takes a look towards his team and shakes his head after Alex de Minaur closes in on levelling the match.

A first hold to love for Alexandra Eala. That should do her confidence the world of good, especially after bringing up three break points in the previous game. She's not out of this.

  9. De Minaur holdspublished at 14:41 BST 6 July

    De Minaur 5-7 5-2 Cobolli*

I don't know how Alex de Minaur defends some of these crushing Flavio Cobolli forehands but he gets his reward as the Italian loses a bruising rally.

Perhaps feeling the heat from the rallies in this game, De Minaur double faults to take the game to deuce, but comes through as Cobolli plants a forehand into the net.

  10. Eala holds to lovepublished at 14:41 BST 6 July

    *Paolini 6-4 1-1 Eala

    Good hold for Alexandra Eala.

Jasmine Paolini had the chance to go up 0-15 after playing a good point, only to put the simplest shot of the lot into the net.

But from there, Eala doesn't give her a sniff.

  11. Paolini saves three break pointspublished at 14:37 BST 6 July

    Paolini 6-4 1-0 Eala*

Alexandra Eala wants to make a statement at the start of this second set.

She is all over the Jasmine Paolini serve, advancing to the net to go up 0-30 then firing a superb return winner down the line to bring up three break points.

However, one after another, they go begging with Eala perhaps trying to hit the ball too hard and losing control.

Paolini digs in and secures the hold from 0-40. But I fancy we've got quite the second set ahead of us.

  12. De Minaur has 'grit and determination'published at 14:36 BST 6 July

    *De Minaur 5-7 4-2 Cobolli

    Todd Woodbridge

Well, De Minaur may not have as clean ball striking that he'd have liked here today. But, he does have that typical De Minaur grit and determination.

  13. De Minaur breakspublished at 14:35 BST 6 July

    *De Minaur 5-7 4-2 Cobolli

We're back under on Court One and Alex De Minaur settles in quickest to bring up two break points.

The pair get locked in a long rally and it's Flavio Cobolli who blinks first as he goes just wide with a forehand down the line.

De Minaur is a break ahead for the first time in the match.

Today, I feel like because of the occasion, De Minaur is playing different. He's thinking, I know I can beat Cobolli, I know I can beat who's in the next round. It can make you a bit apprehensive.

There's been a tension and it's not been as free and easy from him.

We’ve got an incident in the crowd which has temporarily paused play here.

Someone has become unwell over on the far side of the court from where I’m sat, which has no protection from the intense afternoon heat.

I’m sat in the shade and still struggling to stay cool. Fellow spectators have put up umbrellas to shade the individual, while others are passing over water bottles.

Fingers crossed they are going to be OK.

We've got a short delay on Court One as medical personnel see to someone in the crowd. Let's hope they're OK.

Alex de Minaur and Flavio Cobolli have taken the opportunity to sit right next to each other in the shade.

I'd love to hear what they're talking about.

There is so much on the line for both players, the tension keeps switching. It's interesting to see the momentum swings between these two.

Advantage, Paolini. The Italian shakes her racquet as she takes the first set.

Those 70mph serves did Alexandra Eala no favours there.

On this surface, there's that old saying, fortune favours the brave.

De Minaur is not taking on the match, Cobolli is.

Broken as she was serving for the set, Jasmine Paolini brushes that off and breaks again to take it!

Disappointing for Alexandra Eala having worked so hard to get back into the set but she's shown she can match Paolini.

However, Eala did not get enough first serves in in that game and her second was punished time and again.
