Arthur Fery is the British number three and the last home player standing in the men's or women's singles.

Fery grew up steeped in sport. His mother, Olivia, is a French former player who represented Hong Kong in the Fed Cup and used to work for the LTA as a business development manager, while father Loic is an asset manager who owned Ligue 1 football club Lorient.

Born in Paris, Fery's family moved to London when he was young and the 23-year-old came through the LTA system before heading to Stanford University on a scholarship to develop his game in the American collegiate system.

Fery made his Wimbledon mixed doubles debut back in 2021, partnering Tara Moore, with his men's singles main draw debut coming two years later.

He earned his first major win at Wimbledon in 2025, beating 20th seed Alexei Popyrin before going out in the second round. His first Grand Slam singles win away from SW19 came at this year's Australian Open, again reaching the second round.

Fery, who reached the quarter-finals of Queen's in June, entered Wimbledon as a wildcard and ranked 114th in the world.
