Now, Francesca Jones has to back that up.

The Briton has newfound confidence here, in a match which felt almost entirely one-sided only a few games ago.

And, as the errors begin to come more frequently from her opponent's racquet, she is building momentum here. A hold to 15 brings us level in set two.

Novak Djokovic has just walked out onto Court Philippe-Chatrier, where he will attempt to reach the third round at Roland Garros for the 21st year in a row.

The 39-year-old might have been hoping the two matches preceding his had taken a bit longer so that he could have avoided the mid-afternoon heat.

But the good news for the 24-time Grand Slam champion is that he's facing France's Valentin Royer, and the third seed is on a 30-match winning streak against French players.

Bouzkova's a little bit rattled and it's funny isn't it because one or two points and you get into the head of your opponent.

She's started to think a little more about things so she's trying to stay calm but Fran Jones is making some progress here.

Bouzkova is always in the right place. She's totally in command of this match and it's proving quite difficult for Fran Jones to make her feel uncomfortable out there.

The one thing you want to do is take away the strengths of an opponent but also get into their heads psychologically to make them doubt themselves a bit.

Just one hold of serve from five attempts so far from Francesca Jones, but she really must get another here if she is to have any chance of extending this match.

And she manages to do just that, as she follows up a big first serve with a forehand to get over the line.

Jones is being rushed again and it just feels like she's up against it. It's very hard to see gaps down the other end of the court.

It's taking such a lot for her to get on top of a point or really impose her game on Bouzkova.
