  1. Dimitrov holdspublished at 19:31 BST 4 July

    Dimitrov 6-3 4-4 Berrettini*

Matteo Berrettini goes long and it's another hold for Grigor Dimitrov.

The Bulgarian showed he is feeling it today by stretching and sliding and still managing to produce a fantastically deft drop-volley, cross-court.

  2. Dimitrov 'moving around with a lot of confidence'published at 19:29 BST 4 July

The best thing I'm seeing from courtside is Dimitrov's movement. He is really light on his feet, he slides into his shots often.

He looks so confident and athletic. He has had so many injuries in the past but he is looking good.

He is moving around with a lot of confidence, he is serving really well. With the pec injury last year, he is not holding back, he is going 100% on his serves.

He looks comfortable, he loves the grass and he is looking good out there.

It's looking good for American tennis fans at the moment with sixth seed Taylor Fritz and 17th seed Frances Tiafoe both ahead in their third-round ties.

Fritz has just gone two sets to one up against unseeded Italian Lorenzo Sonego, while Tiafoe is a set up against Kazakhstani 10th seed Alexander Bublik with the pair 3-3 in the second.

The winners of these matches will play against each other in the fourth round.

  5. Berrettini holdspublished at 19:25 BST 4 July

    *Dimitrov 6-3 3-4 Berrettini

    Superb from Matteo Berrettini.

After a strong serve out wide, he shuffles in, runs around a backhand and rifles a cross-court forehand winner.

He follows that up with an ace down the middle to hold to 15.

  6. 'Love this match-up'published at 19:22 BST 4 July

    Tim Henman
Former British number one on BBC One

I love his match-up because it is very different from what we see week-in and week-out on the grass.

These two utilise the sliced backhand and show how effective that shot is on grass.

  7. Dimitrov holdspublished at 19:22 BST 4 July

    Dimitrov 6-3 3-3 Berrettini*

A little bit of pressure on Grigor Dimitrov again but he responds well, his 10th ace of the match takes him to 40-30.

The hold is secured with a forehand whipped to Matteo Berrettini's right.

  8. Postpublished at 19:19 BST 4 July

    *Dimitrov 6-3 2-3 Berrettini

Both players briefly threaten to break but neither can manage it and it remains on serve in the second on Centre Court.

Berrettini had given himself a chance on the Dimitrov serve but put forehand slice into the net at 30-30 and the Bulgarian ground it out from there.

Dimitrov then got himself to 15-30 on Berrettini's serve, only for the Italian to shut him down with three quick points.

  9. 'Fery has an advantage on grass'published at 19:16 BST 4 July

When you do what you need to do, some people might perceive it as selfish but really I think he is doing the right thing. It shows how much he wants this. I kept watching his demeanour and his actions and I could see how much he wants this, but he was also able to concentrate and focus on what he needed to do. It was the confidence and belief that allowed Arthur Fery to win.

Because he isn't the tallest guy in the world, he does have an advantage on grass because he has a low centre of gravity. It is about doing the best with what God gave you!

  10. 'Fery has worked very hard'published at 19:14 BST 4 July

This result moves Arthur Fery up into the top 100 - and that gives me chills alone. It is such a big deal because he doesn't just directly qualify for the majors, but he will be competing in the Cincinnati Open and the Indian Wells next year. It is a big deal.

It is nice to get the money, but it is even nicer to get more opportunities against the best because he has worked very hard.

Sensational scenes on court 18 as Fery sinks to the grass in celebration.

The balconies overlooking the court were packed as Fery sped to a remarkable victory, with tens of people - from British player Jodie Burrage, Davis Cup captain Leon Smith and several LTA coaches to members of the media - scrambling to grab a view.

And there was barely a patch of grass spare on Henman Hill, which you can see in the right of the picture.

After lapping up the adulation on the court, Fery was mobbed as he left with tens of giddy fans asking him for selfies.

  12. 'I'm so amazed at Fery's resilience'published at 19:09 BST 4 July

Arthur Fery's game is perfectly-suited to grass. He has that low centre of gravity. He has great hands so, if there is an awkward or low bounce, he has the improvisational skills to get the ball back in play.

He really understands how his game translates to grass. He absorbs the power. When he has the opportunity, he doesn't mind coming forward. He has a nice little slice and he can chip the ball down low to make it awkward for an opponent. He moves so well when so many players are challenged by the movement on grass.

I'm so amazed at his resilience. As he said in his interview, he was down the entire match but that is the belief he has. He needed to have that inner trust and back himself the entire time to get this result.

Still on serve early in the second set on Centre Court with Matteo Berrettini holding firm on serve.

Grigor Dimitrov is playing with confidence, though, and held his own serve to love.

The momentum is definitely with the Bulgarian at the moment.

  14. 'No words'published at 19:06 BST 4 July

Great Britain's Arthur Fery, speaking after his five-set win over Zizou Bergs in the third round: "No words for it, honestly. I don't know what is going on right now. It will take time to digest it. So many first times after this match. I'm just so glad."

On how deep he had to dig to come back in that match: "Just tried to stay in the match, just backing myself as a competitor.

"I was down for pretty much the whole match, managed to scramble back from two breaks and 4-1 in the fifth, and just tried to put up as much of a fight as I could."

On the nosebleeds that caused breaks in the match: "It is a problem I am going to address. It has happened before but it's not that common.

"It happened at times today when I didn't want to stop, when momentum was with me. I know it annoying for the opponent. It gives me some extra time to rest sometimes I guess."

On wanting to play on court 18 and having his family and friends watch: "Unreal. With that support, it is unbelievable. I requested to play on this court and the club made it happen which was awesome. I love this court and had a great time on it.

    "It is incredible, yeah."

  15. 'I take my hat off to him'published at 19:05 BST 4 July

Mentally and emotionally, belief is just as important as the physical things. If you don't believe, you've got no chance no matter how good you are.

I take my hat off to him, he has broken into the top 100. I don't think a lot of people realise how important that is in our sport. For example, he gets straight into the US Open and he can do so many other things now that he's in the top 100.

He earned it. He killed himself. He tried his hardest. He gave so much of his heart. I can't wait to watch him in the future.

Arthur Fery will face either fellow wildcard Grigor Dimitrov or 2021 Wimbledon finalist Matteo Berrettini in the last 16.

The big questions remains over where that match will take place.

Fery specifically requested to be on court 18 today but one of the show courts surely beckons?

The drama and the guts of Arthur Fery! My word, he was down and out. It was absolutely courageous.

He had complete belief in himself to turn it around. I don't know how he did it, he doesn't know right now. There will be stats and everything else - and that will be important in time - but the important thing today is he was mentally the king today.

No messing about from Grigor Dimitrov.

He's quickly in to the net and wrong-foots Matteo Berrettini as he whips a forehand to the Italian's forehand side.

That secures a hold to 15 and puts the former world number three a set to the good.
