    Ha!

What an absolutely perfect way for this match to end, both players on the ground having given everything in that final point.

It’s been a brilliant afternoon on Centre Court, and this is the loudest I’ve heard Wimbledon’s main stage so far during these championships.

Arthur Rinderknech deservedly leaves to huge applause after more than playing his part in an enthralling three-hour contest.

Djokovic survives the Frenchman’s fightback and celebrates with a dance for his daughter after matching Roger Federer’s men’s singles match win record in style.

It was a fairly predictable match in those first two sets, but Arthur Rinderknech deserves a lot of credit for his efforts in the third and fourth. He really held his level and he pushed Novak Djokovic to the brink.

When Djokovic needed it most, he came up with his best tennis to take that fourth-set tie-break and the match.

    *Struff 7-6 (7-4) 7-6 (7-5) 5-5 Medvedev

Sensational ball striking from Jan-Lennard Struff.

The 36-year-old does not want this match going on longer than it needs to.

He powers his way to another break of serve and keeps this third set alive as Daniil Medvedev misses another opportunity to serve it out.

Which way is this going to go?

What a way to take it! Both men are down on the grass of Centre Court, but it is Novak Djokovic who is first to rise.

What a point to finish a great match and a great test for Djokovic. It was a scare from Arthur Rinderknech, but he survives and he will celebrate again.

For the 105th time, he experiences a match win at Wimbledon.

Daniil Medvedev tries to put Jan-Lennard Struff under pressure on his serve and gets to 40-30, but the German keeps his cool and asks the serve-it-out question of the eighth seed once again.

Can Medvedev hold his nerve this time?

That was a 135mph serve from Arthur Rinderknech. He is just cranking it up.

There have been plenty of aces in this match, but 21 have come from the Frenchman. I wonder how many of those have come in sets three and four?

The ‘oohs’ and ‘aahs’ are coming near enough after every strike of the ball in this tie-break, never mind each point.

The brief opportunities between serves are being filled by chants for both players, who are absolutely locked in here.

Some huge points coming up now. It’s gripping stuff.

  20. Video review as Struff breakspublished at 16:50 BST 3 July

    *Struff 7-6 (7-4) 7-6 (7-5) 3-5 Medvedev

Jan-Lennard Struff tries his best to keep himself in the third set and, with the help of a Daniil Medvedev double fault, gets it to deuce.

Are there nerves for Medvedev here? Another double fault and it's advantage Struff.

Wait, what has happened there? The backhand from Medvedev seems to go either through the post and the net, or hit the top of the post net and somehow land in on the other side.

The umpire sends it for video review and the side-on angle clearly shows it going between the post and net, giving Struff the point and the break.

    A good use of VAR.
