    Ulster 14-0 Cardiff

A big hit from Werner Kok forces a forward pass from Harri Millard and from the scrum Ulster make good ground.

However, Cardiff win a penalty at the breakdown and the penalty takes them to the Ulster 22. Uncharted territory so far in this one.

What a fantastic try by Bell, the work was done by the centres, but Bell should have 11 on his back not one.

You can tell Cardiff are missing their internationals.

    De Beer try, O'Brien con

    The pressure tells!

You can't say it hasn't been coming. The ball is worked to the left and although Rio Dyer looks to be heading into touch - he brilliantly slips an inside pass to Che Hope to keep the move alive.

More phases follows and eventually Tinus de Beer sniped through a gap to score. O'Brien nails the extras from out wide and momentarily at least, a vocal crowd falls silent.

Well, that's international quality for you. That would have been incredible for a full-back, never mind a prop.

Marcus Rea just stood there with his hands on his head after that. He's either busted or couldn't believe his eyes.

    My guess is the latter.

    Ospreys 0-0 Dragons

This time it is Ospreys who stand firm.

Another lineout drive is repelled but Che Hope soon has his pack hammering away at the line.

However, Sam Parry jackals superbly to win his side the ball and despite taking a bang for his troubles, the hooker is back on his feet. Great work.

    Angus Bell (Murphy con)

The props are doing the business so far! Although that was not a prop-like try from Angus Bell as he picks off the back of a ruck and sits full back Cam Winnett on his backside. In basketball, they call that an ankle breaker!

He still had work to do but showed great power and athleticism to get over under the posts. Murphy converts and it's two converted tries for the hosts at the midway point of the first half.

    Ospreys 0-0 Dragons

First blood to the Dragons front row.

They win a scrum penalty to set up a lineout chance and after the forward drive comes up short, winger Rio Dyer is inches away from scoring in the corner.

A knock-on breaks the momentum but we are back for another penalty.

    Ulster 7-0 Cardiff

Cardiff get the ball as far as the halfway line but no real potency and Ulster secure a turnover penalty that Jack Murphy deposits into the terrace between the 10 metre line and 22.

Wilson would have enjoyed that, what a fantastic chain drive by Ulster.

The momentum was building and the back-row combined really well down the right-hand side, they’ve been putting the likes of McCann and Rae to target those wingers and Carson with another strong carry.

From a Cardiff perspective, they need to look out for those because Wilson will be on the look out for those now.

    Ospreys 0-0 Dragons

    A first chance for Dragons!

Again, their defence is rock solid and after an Ospreys attack breaks down in midfield, Fine Inisi picks up a loose ball and counter attacks.

The ball goes wide to Angus O'Brien but his grubber kick ahead has just too much on it and rolls over the dead ball line.

There would have been some hearts in mouths among home fans there.

    What a start for Ulster!

The stadium is by no means full but there was some noise as Scott Wilson charged over. He wasn't going to be stopped from there.

    Ospreys 0-0 Dragons

Ospreys back on the attack and that is a big carry from Morgan Morse.

But then superb work from Wyn Jones to win the Dragons a turnover and Tinus de Beer clears upfield.

The visitors have been under early pressure - but they're standing up to it.

Converted Try Ulster 7-0 Cardiffpublished at 19:57 GMT 31 January

    Scott Wilson (Murphy con)

Some more lovely handling from Ulster with a particularly attractive offload out the back from Matt Dalton setting Dave McCann away down the right.

The ball is recycled and Scott Wilson crashes over under the posts. That leaves an easy conversion for Jack Murphy and Ulster have the points their starts deserves

    Ulster 0-0 Cardiff

Ulster go wide right with some nice hands but the final pass from James Hume goes out of play for another Cardiff lineout just inside their 22.

All of the game being played deep in their territory at the moment.

    Ospreys 0-0 Dragons

Sam Parry finds his man and here comes the rumble forward.

Great work from the Dragons pack though. They hold up the charge, literally, and have the put in at the scrum.

    Wales international fly-half on S4C

If you have a strong pack like the Dragons do, you get more options at play and they have set it up well to use that to their advantage.

That might be the difference tonight.

    Ulster 0-0 Cardiff

    Chris Horsman
Former Wales prop on BBC Radio Wales

Bit of a cagey start from Cardiff, it’s obvious they’re relying on their kicking game tonight but they have to be careful.

Cardiff are at their best when the ball is moving, going through phases. They have to be wary of kicking to Werner Kok, he ran over Tom Bowen.

Ulster have the visitors penned in with another kick deep into Cardiff territory. Cardiff exited last time. Can they do so again?

    Ospreys 0-0 Dragons

It's the Ospreys in the early ascendancy here and they play the phases before winning a penalty.

Jack Walsh doesn't even contemplate the three points and instead, goes for the corner.
