Wales are playing this uncapped fixture outside World Rugby's official Test window, which means that Steve Tandy is without 13 players who are on the books of English and French clubs:

    2. Nicky Smith (Leicester)
    3. Adam Beard (Montpellier)
    4. Dafydd Jenkins (Exeter)
    5. Freddie Thomas (Gloucester)
    6. Olly Cracknell (Leicester)
    7. Kane James (Exeter)
    8. Tommy Reffell (Leicester
    9. Tomos Williams (Gloucester)
    10. Bryn Bradley (Harlequins)
    11. Max Llewellyn (Gloucester
    12. Gabriel Hamer-Webb (Leicester)
    13. Louis Rees-Zammit (Bristol)

Ospreys' Jac Morgan and Dewi Lake are going to Gloucester next season, while Aaron Wainwright is swapping Dragons for Leicester but they are available because they are still technically contracted by the Welsh clubs.

Last weekend Faf de Klerk played against the Barbarians for South Africa but the scrum-half missed out on the Springboks' squad for the summer and accepted a Baa-Baas call-up.

The World Cup winner captains the invitational side this afternoon.

"I've been wanting to play for the Barbarians my entire career. It just never worked out," he said.

"I jumped at the opportunity to come, I'm very privileged and happy to be here."

De Klerk is looking to get the better of Wales again but knows the Barbarians will have to dig deep.

"We've heard how hard they've been training in pre-season," he said about Steve Tandy's squad.

"They have a lot of youngsters in the group. A lot of guys are going to play with hunger, so we're going to have to match them physically."

The men's teams have arrived on a sweltering London afternoon. Definitely one to stay in the shade as long as possible.

Jac Morgan makes a welcome return at open-side for Wales after he suffered a dislocated shoulder when scoring against Argentina in the first game of the Steve Tandy era.

Lock Teddy Williams make his first appearance since dislocating his right foot when landing awkwardly at a Cardiff line-out in October.

Wales have concerns at tight-head and have turned to 57-cap Dragons prop Dillon Lewis, who returns to the international stage after a two-year absence.

All of the three-quarters are from Scarlets, although wing Tom Rogers is joining Ospreys next season.

No caps will be awarded this afternoon but there are four international debutants on the bench - props Rhys Barratt and Ben Warren, lock or flanker Ryan Woodman and back-row forward Harrison Keddie.

Wales men: Murray; Rogers, James, Hawkins, Mee; Edwards, Hardy; G Thomas, Lake (capt), Lewis , Carter, T Williams, Plumtree, Morgan, Wainwright.

Replacements: Elias, Barratt, Warren, Woodman, Keddie, Morgan-Williams, Costelow, Grady.

George North will make his last professional outing of a glittering career at Twickenham.

The wing or centre, who scored 47 tries in 121 internationals for Wales, is hanging up his boots after coming off the Barbarians bench.

He isn't the only Welshman facing his country - Dragons' Elliot Dee starts at hooker.

South Africa scrum-half Faf de Klerk leads a side that also features fellow World Cup winner Vincent Koch.

Australia flanker Lukhan Salakaia-Loto and the France quartet of Romain Taofifenua, Jordan Joseph, Tom Spring and Yoan Tanga are in a line-up that features 19 internationals from 11 countries.

Barbarians men: Spring; Kellaway, Ward, Nankivell, Vakatawa; Plummer, de Klerk (capt); Kharaishvili, Dee, Koch, Rodda, Taofifenua, Salakaia-Loto, Boshier, Hughes.

Replacements: Thacker, Iscaro, Alo-Emile, Tanga, Joseph, Arata, North, McConnell.

Hello from Allianz Stadium in Twickenham for a double-header of international rugby between Wales and the Barbarians.

The women kick off at 17:00 BST but first up it's the men as Steve Tandy's side warm up for a summer schedule that pits them against Fiji in Cardiff, Argentina in San Juan and South Africa in Durban.

They will blow away the cobwebs in the London heat against a Baa-Baas side who no doubt have been drinking plenty of liquids this week.

Wales, who grew after a nightmare start to the Six Nations and ended the tournament with a victory against Italy, could do with a morale-boosting win before the tough Tests.

Let's have a look at the teams...
