  1. 'Pressure mounting for Scotland'published at 51 mins

    Wales 20-5 Scotland

    Jonathan Davies
Former Wales fly-half on BBC One

It will be interesting to see what Scotland do.

They've come down here as clear favourites, so the longer Wales are in front, the more the pressure will mount for them.

  2. Postpublished at 50 mins

    Wales 20-5 Scotland

Huw Jones was so clinical last week against England.

He needs just one more try to move clear in fifth place in the list of all-time leading try scorers in the Six Nations.

  3. Chance!published at 49 mins

    Wales 20-5 Scotland

Oh Huw Jones should have over the try line but he blew it!

Blair Kinghorn wins the jump for Russell's kick-off and Scotland work the ball to the left.

Duhan Van der Merwe trundles down the touchline before slipping what looked for all odds to be scoring pass to Jones but he fails to collect.

How did he not score? I'm not sure anyone in a blue jersey knows.

  4. Penalty: Wales 20-5 Scotlandpublished at 48 mins

    Costelow

They do and Costelow bangs over his fourth kick of the game.

They're more than two scores clear.

  5. Postpublished at 47 mins

    Wales 17-5 Scotland

Sam Costelow hoists up a bomb that hangs for so long that both Louis Rees-Zammit and Josh Adams are able to easily out-jump Van der Merwe and tap the ball back to Joe Hawkins deep inside Scotland's half.

Penalty coming right in front of the posts. Surely they will take the three?

  6. Postpublished at 45 mins

    Wales 17-5 Scotland

He has only been on the pitch a matter of seconds but Nicky Smith has comes up with a turnover in midfield.

Big hit on Scotland scrum-half Ben White and the Leicester prop is all over the ball.

  7. Replacementpublished at 44 mins

    Wales 17-5 Scotland

Rhys Carre makes way after a huge 44 minutes.

Scored a try, carried hard. I think he even played scrum-half for a few phases.

Good display from the prop and Nicky Smith is on.

  8. Townsend Scotland career in balance?published at 43 mins

    Wales 17-5 Scotland

    Peter Wright
Former Scotland prop on BBC Radio Scotland

I think Gregor Townsend's Scotland career depends on Scotland winning today.

If he loses this today, everybody's going to ask for his head - and I think quite rightly.

Something's not right in that camp if you can get up for the England game but not here.

It tells you something about the mentality of the coaching staff and players.

  9. Postpublished at 42 mins

    Wales 17-5 Scotland

Well, I asked if Scotland can get themselves back into this but not if they can't sort out their lineout as another one is lost straight away.

They made the call to hook off 6ft 10ins Max Williamson and that's where they will miss him most.

  10. Kick-offpublished at 17:42 GMT 21 February

    Wales 17-5 Scotland

Finn Russell kicks off the second half.

Can Scotland get themselves back into this?

    Can Wales hold on?

  11. Rare half-time lead for Walespublished at 17:42 GMT 21 February

    HT: Wales 17-5 Scotland

This is the first time Wales have been ahead at half-time under Steve Tandy.

In fact it's only the third time Wales have led at half-time at home since 2023 in 18 games.

The most recent occasion that Wales led at half-time by more than three points in a home Six Nations game was in 2020 (21-0 v Italy).

Credit to Russ Petty on X for those stats.

    Gareth Delve
Former Wales international on BBC Radio Wales

I don’t think Scotland have played particularly poorly, it’s just the energy of Wales so far has been so hard to deal with.

  13. Wales 'want it more'published at 17:41 GMT 21 February

    HT: Wales 17-5 Scotland

    Peter Wright
Former Scotland prop on BBC Radio Scotland

In the first 10 minutes Scotland got in positions but it was about players being selfish or picking the wrong decision.

What they needed to do was put ball through hands on a number of occasions, that would have been tries.

They squandered chances and that gave Wales belief and their forwards have been outstanding.

They are winning that collision battle. I think they just want it more.

  14. 'Wales winning this hands down'published at 17:39 GMT 21 February

    HT: Wales 17-5 Scotland

    Tom English
BBC Scotland chief sports writer on Sportsound

It's all a big shocking to watch this.

There are shades of four years ago when they beat England and came here and did not get off the bus.

They haven't got off the bus. They are maybe still in the hotel.

There is no composure there and Wales are loving this.

Physically, Wales are winning this hands down and I've never seen Towsend making changes so early.

It is a sense of panic and Scotland are in real trouble here.

  16. 'Wales have kept the crowd on side'published at 17:38 GMT 21 February

    HT: Wales 17-5 Scotland

    Sam Warburton
Former Wales captain on BBC One

How good was the crowd in the first half? All because Wales didn't let Scotland run away with the score line.

We thought it was going to be textbook after the first few penalties and Scotland gaining momentum. Scotland have been poor in Wales' 22 but Wales have vitaly kept the crowd on side.

When the crowd get a sniff of success the roof is raised and the players feed off it. Wales have managed to keep the crowd in the game and the players have kept the momentum.

    Great from Wales.

Tuipulotu and Huw Jones don’t have an answer for the defence of Joe Hawkins and Eddie James.

That partnership is really starting to build, they’re communicating really well.

  18. Ruthless Ireland hit record away win over Englandpublished at 17:36 GMT 21 February

What a game we saw at the Allianz Stadium earlier today where a ruthless Ireland reignited their Six Nations title bid with a record away win 42-21 over England.

The visitors' previous record-winning margin was a 17-point victory in 2022, with the defeat all but ending Steve Borthwick side's championship hopes.

Andy Farrell's side proved too quick and slick for the hosts, scoring three tries inside the opening 30 minutes.

Jamison Gibson-Park and wingers Robert Baloucoune and Tommy O'Brien crossed early.

England responded at the end of a frantic first half through Fraser Dingwall.

But Dan Sheehan's try clinched the bonus point early in the second half for Ireland who are back in the running for the championship but may rue not picking up a late bonus point in last week's win over Italy.

Centre Ollie Lawrence and Sam Underhill scored second-half tries for England, but Ireland were always too far clear because of the boot of Jack Crowley and a try by Jamie Osborne.
