    Oosthuizen -5 (15)

It shouldn't be a bogey on 16 - but a birdie might prove difficult too as Louis Oosthuizen draws his tee shot on to the green but well right of the flag.

    Oosthuizen -5 (15)

Louis Oosthuizen blanks out all of the noise from further down the course with a nice par on 15.

He's still a shot behind of course - but the par five 18th offers the chance to make that deficit up.

Two more holes before that, though. A birdie on either puts him back in the driving seat but a bogey would surely gift victory to Jon Rahm.

A big kiss and cuddle from Jon Rahm for his wife and son as he leaves the course and prepares for that potential play-off - or a trophy presentation...

  5. Postpublished at 00:40 BST 21 June 2021

A reminder - if Oosthuizen and Rahm finish level, we have a two-hole aggregate play-off.

The 18-hole Monday play-off has been done away with. We'll have a winner tonight.

Only Louis Oosthuizen, a shot behind Rahm, and Rory McIlroy, on two under, can realistically deprive the Spaniard now.

And it would be a tall task for the Northern Irishman, who would need two birdies and an eagle.

So it's looking for all the world like a two-horse race.

Where's your money folks? Thumbs up for a Rahm win, thumbs down for Oosthuizen to triumph...

  7. Rahm moves into leadpublished at 00:33 BST 21 June 2021

    Rahm -6 (F)

    What a putt. Again.

It's as good as his birdie at the 17th - and reward for that sensible bunker shot. It curls in from the left as the crowd roar their approval.

The Spaniard posts six under - will that be enough to lift his first Major?

All he can do now is wait.

    Oosthuizen -5 (14)

While that was going on, Louis Oosthuizen has blasted a nerveless tee shot down the 15th fairway.

Whatever happens with Rahm, the South African has his own destiny in his hands given he has four more shots to play.

    Rahm -5 (17)

He decides that discretion is the better part of valour with that bunker shot - and rightly so - by dumping it into the middle of the green.

Had he have gone for the flag and overhit it, a watery end could have awaited the ball with the 18th green sloping downhill to the pond at its front.

All the emotions that must be going through Jon Rahm's brain right now.

Just weeks, remember, after he led a PGA Tour event at The Memorial but had to withdraw after testing positive for Covid.

    Rahm -5 (17)

"Make sure you miss the water," will surely be at the forefront of Jon Rahm's mind ahead of his second shot to the 18th, which has a pretty big pond at the front of the green.

He misses the water quite easily. Trouble is, he's in the sand instead to the right of the green. Should still have a birdie chance on this par five but it's not ideal.

    McIlroy -2 (14)

Rory McIlroy has that well-worn look on his face right now. That one of resignation. That one that says 'this is another one that got away'.

He's just pulled his second to the the left of the par-four 15th green and down a slope. Barring a chip-in birdie - we've seen a couple of those from him this week - his race might well be run.

  15. Par for Oosthuizenpublished at 00:23 BST 21 June 2021

    Oosthuizen -5 (14)

A relief for Louis Oosthuizen after his poor tee shot on the 14th as he recovers with a fine second from in among the fans then a long putt that leaves an easy par.

    Rahm -5 (17)

So just the par five 18th left for Jon Rahm and what a chance for the Spaniard to post a clubhouse target in his bid to attain a first Major.

Harris English currently holds the clubhouse lead on three under but Rahm will surely better that, barring a disaster.

No disaster with his tee shot at the last from Rahm though, bang down the middle of the fairway.

    DeChambeau - 1 (15)

The 15th hole is playing the second hardest of this final round. With the pressure off a little, Bryson DeChambeau pings his drive straight down the middle and finds the green with his second.

Two putts from 45 feet and he's heading to the par-three 16th.

  18. Rahm ties for the leadpublished at 00:18 BST 21 June 2021

    Rahm -5 (17)

What a putt, take a bow Jon Rahm.

A good 15-20 footer, really heavily breaking from left to right and he judges it superbly.

Deserved that after coming so close with other chances.

A massive whoop from the crowd that Louis Oosthuizen will surely have heard.

    Rahm -4 (16)

A brilliant bunker shot from Jon Rahm, who is going to earn himself another long birdie opportunity on 17.

"Yes, sir," he says obediently to his caddie before the sand shot. Didn't catch what the caddie said but it obviously worked. Nice and polite from Rahm too.

  20. Holes running out for Rorypublished at 00:15 BST 21 June 2021

    McIlroy -2 (14)

You feel this birdie putt from Rory McIlroy needs to drop. It's a good 30 feet, uphill though so he can give it a rattle. Not too much of a rattle though Rors. Slow down there ball.

Three, maybe four feet for par. Holed.

He needs to pick up at least two shots from somewhere in his closing four holes.
