We finish our round-up of this morning's national newspapers with the Express back page, which leads on Manchester United's Champions League defeat at home to Galatasaray.

Erik ten Hag's side slipped to a sixth defeat in 10 games, with the Express report saying that the "crisis deepens" at Old Trafford as the "ailing giants are left in the mire".

Arsenal goalkeeper David Raya's "howler" is also highlighted in the Gunners' 2-1 defeat at French side Lens.

The Times focusses on the moment that VAR officials realise they have made a mistake in the review of Luis Diaz's disallowed goal for Liverpool against Tottenham.

There is also a piece on Newcastle's England defender Kieran Trippier, who vows "I'll stop Mbappe" as Eddie Howe's side prepare to host Paris St-Germain in the Champions League tonight.

The Telegraph also leads on the VAR audio, highlighting the fact that video assistant referee Darren England dismissed calls to "stop the game" after the game had restarted.

But the broadsheet's main sports page also features a stark assessment of Manchester United's defeat to Galatasaray, saying the club is now "staring into the abyss" after Mauro Icardi's 81st-minute winner condemned Erik ten Hag's side to a second defeat in the Champions League.

The view in the Mail is clear.

The back page assesses the "four-letter panic" after the "blunder" that led to Luis Diaz's strike wrongly being ruled out for offside.
