    Tottenham 1-1 Brighton

Brilliant run down the left from Veatriki Sarri for Brighton.

She collects the ball on the corner of the box, darts inside the defender and fires the ball across goal.

It's too close to the goalkeeper, though, and Rebecca Spencer pushes it away to safety.

Beth England emerges from the midfield dirge and powers forward with space ahead of her.

With a defender on her shoulder, the Tottenham striker opts to shoot from well outside the box and the ball bounces wide.

    Tottenham 1-1 Brighton

Back under way and Spurs come close to a second.

The ball is fed inside to Drew Spence, in plenty of space, but she rather scuffs her shot from just inside the box and it trickles wide.

  8. Postpublished at 19 mins

    Tottenham 1-1 Brighton

We've got the almost traditional delay as Tottenham keeper Rebecca Spencer goes down.

It's remarkable how many WSL goalkeepers have these minor injuries midway through a half that magically resolve themselves once the manager has had a good chat with the outfield players...

  9. Postpublished at 17 mins

    Tottenham 1-1 Brighton

Brighton's turn to attack now and they win another corner.

The ball is only half cleared but as the visitors try to get to the left byline to put it in again, Celin Bizet is across quickly to win a goal kick for Spurs.

  10. Postpublished at 14 mins

    Tottenham 1-1 Brighton

Tottenham come forward again now and the ball is whipped in from the right.

Eveliina Summanen flings herself at it in the middle but can only make the faintest of contact and the ball drifts just wide.

    Elisabeth Terland

Brighton lead - and it had been coming!

Katie Robinson is at the heart of it again for Brighton. She nips past Kerys Harrop and puts in a cross.

Elisabeth Terland meets it at the near post. The first effort is brilliantly saved by Rebecca Spencer but Terland thumps in the rebound from point-blank range.

  13. Postpublished at 8 mins

  14. Postpublished at 6 mins

    Tottenham 0-0 Brighton

Nice play from Katie Robinson on the right, skipping inside Kerys Harrop and moving into the Spurs penalty area.

    Tottenham v Brighton (17:15 BST)

The teams are out at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Leicester's win earlier today has really ramped up the tension ahead of this one.

The threat of relegation looms large for both Tottenham and Brighton. A win for either today would really help to ease the pressure.

Tottenham may not have expected to be in a relegation battle this season but that's where they find themselves.

They'll hope playing at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium with its plush-looking dressing room gives the players a boost.

They'll also hope Beth England's fine goalscoring form continues. She's scored six goals in eight WSL games since joining from Chelsea in January.

Of the teams fighting relegation, Tottenham are perhaps the biggest surprise following a fifth-placed finish last season.

Under interim boss Vicky Jepson they have shown signs of improvement, beating Leicester 1-0 and battling back from 2-0 down against Aston Villa to draw 3-3.

"We have added grit to our armour," Jepson told her pre-match media conference.

"Especially going 2-0 down, we could have cowed away, so I'm pleased that we kept ourselves in the game.

"There are still four games left and no one expected us to get anything against Villa. If it's not to be on Saturday, there are still three games left."
