That's the story of this second half so far. Both sides have got themselves into promising positions but the final ball has let them down.

If Tottenham do stay up, they will have Beth England to thank.

That tension perhaps led to the scrappy nature of the game as the half wore on.

Both teams will be desperate for the three points so the game is likely to open up in the second half.

That's where we remain. Both sides moving a point further away from the relegation zone but they would dearly love to make it three.

After a throw-in on the right, the Spurs midfielder makes room and curls a left-foot shot just wide of the far post with Lydia Williams scrambling to get across in the Brighton goal.
