    Brilliant goal!

Brighton attack with speed again, Katie Robinson skips past Kerys Harrop and then lays the ball across for Lee Geum-Min.

The South Korea international strides onto it and places a superb first-time shot into the bottom corner from 20 yards.

What an impact from the substitute!

    Tottenham 1-1 Brighton

An eventful first few minutes for Lee Geum-Min since coming on and now she's booked.

She catches Eveliina Summanen with a hand in the face as she tries to shield the ball. Accidental but worthy of a yellow card.

    Tottenham 1-1 Brighton

    Brighton are on top now.

Katie Robinson drives a low ball in and it almost gets through to Lee Geum-Min on the six-yard line.

A vital Tottenham interception is needed to avert the danger.

  7. CLOSE!published at 57 mins

    Tottenham 1-1 Brighton

Nearly an instant impact for Lee Geum-Min.

Elisabeth Terland meets it but her header goes just past the near post.

  9. Postpublished at 53 mins

    Tottenham 1-1 Brighton

Spurs win the ball back in Brighton's final third and Eveliina Summanen plays the ball to Beth England on the left.

She puts a cross towards the far post but it beats everyone. Goal kick.

That's the story of this second half so far. Both sides have got themselves into promising positions but the final ball has let them down.

  10. Postpublished at 51 mins

    Tottenham 1-1 Brighton

Libby Bance with a speculative effort for Brighton. Off target by some distance.

  11. Postpublished at 49 mins

    Tottenham 1-1 Brighton

Lovely ball over the top from Ashleigh Neville to Rosella Ayane.

Ayane can't quite bring it under control though and it is out for a goal kick.

But a great pass and had Ayane been able to bring it down, she was in.

  12. Postpublished at 46 mins

    Tottenham 1-1 Brighton

Decent break for Brighton, they've got numbers in the box but Megan Connolly doesn't quite put enough on her pass and Kerys Harrop is able to intercept.

    HT: Tottenham 1-1 Brighton

The magnitude of this game was arguably shown after that flying start.

That tension perhaps led to the scrappy nature of the game as the half wore on.

Both teams will be desperate for the three points so the game is likely to open up in the second half.

  18. HALF-TIMEpublished at 18:06 BST 29 April 2023

    Tottenham 1-1 Brighton

The referee sounds the half-time whistle and it's all square at the break.

Brighton led through Elisabeth Terland in the 10th minute. But just 90 seconds later, Beth England headed Tottenham level.

That's where we remain. Both sides moving a point further away from the relegation zone but they would dearly love to make it three.

Good effort from Celin Bizet as this match springs back to life.

After a throw-in on the right, the Spurs midfielder makes room and curls a left-foot shot just wide of the far post with Lydia Williams scrambling to get across in the Brighton goal.
