    Lauren Hemp

    Blimey! Another City cracker.

Another ball from wide - this time Chloe Kelly on the right - is not dealt with by the Chelsea defence and when the ball falls to Lauren Hemp she smashes a sweet strike past Ann-Katrin Berger.

Man City are flying. Chelsea's players huddle and hold an inquest.

City, as you would expect, look very confident in possession.

Bunny Shaw drops deep to try and make something happen, linking up with Steph Houghton and Alex Greenwood as City build patiently.

Man City are getting numbers forward and that seems to be the difference.

Both Lauren James and Sam Kerr have been on their own when they have got into the final third.

I know they play different styles, but Chelsea just don't seem to be at full tilt.

Not seen as much from Chelsea as we might have expected. They go long to find Sam Kerr but she is a fraction offside.

What a goal! I was watching Chelsea goalkeeper Ann-Katrin Berger and she stood still.

She let it fly past her and into the top corner. It has come from the Manchester City press.

Chelsea looked lost as to how to come out from Manchester City's high press.

City have the bit between their teeth now. Lauren Hemp carries the ball into the final third and that's the trigger for Khadija Shaw to race out of the blocks.

Speaking of which, Bunny's fellow Jamaican star Usain Bolt is watching at City Academy Stadium.

But even he wouldn't have been able to reach Hemp's overhit pass towards Shaw.

    What a strike from Angeldahl!

But as a goalkeeper, I'm not happy with Ann-Katrin Berger because she put the ball at risk. Could she have played it short?

Angeldahl on the angle, it's the most simple, direct and straight forward finish from her.

Top bins, side netting, it's everything that Manchester City - and Chelsea - deserve.

She sees that window, she executes it beautifully.

That goal came from City pressing Chelsea high, they have given the Blues no time to play football so far.

Emma Hayes has much to ponder.

    Filippa Angeldahl

Pick that out! City midfielder Filippa Angeldahl opens the scoring with an absolute cracker.

Chelsea are the architects of their own downfall, keeper Ann-Katrin Berger's casual clearance being pounced on by the Swede.

She exchanges passes with Lauren Hemp before knocking an angled strike into the top corner.

There is a fan with a drum just to the right of the press box. My colleagues in radio are struggling to make themselves heard.

It's a buzzing atmosphere at Academy Stadium, although the fans have not been treated to the quality football we expected so far.

You sense this could be a tale of two strikers - Khadija Shaw vs Sam Kerr.

Shaw has been directly involved in 31 goals in 32 appearances for Manchester City in the WSL (24 goals and seven assists), with only Kerr (35) having more combined goals and assists in the competition since Shaw’s debut in September 2021.

"Feed the Bun and she will score," sing the home fans, referencing Shaw's nickname 'Bunny'.

Chelsea have done well in the opening stages to keep Bunny Shaw quiet.

She has improved immensly since coming into the WSL.

She came in to replace or certainly compete with Ellen White. she has polished her game this season.

It just opened up for Ingle, first real test for Roebuck.

She pulls the trigger, there is a deflection off Houghton.

Decent strike but Roebuck watches it all the way. She'll be looking to impress in front of England manager Sarina Wiegman.
