Aston Villa boss Unai Emery on Sky Sports: "We are playing at home and each match at home is very important because of the responsibility we have to our fans to show good moves and as well to try and impose our ideas and play with good energy and connect with our fans. We are doing very good work and improving.
"Today is a very big challenge, to show we can play here, impose ourselves and be consistent for 90 minutes. The three points would be a very important win for our progress."
On new signing Alex Moreno: "He's coming here to help us. It is very good for the team and squad to have another player. He brings different qualities and it brings competition to the left side. We'll use him if we need to. He'll compete for us and help us with his quality."

Former Aston Villa striker Dion Dublin on Sky Sports: "I am a massive fan of Ollie Watkins. You can see what he's got naturally but it is work-rate. He makes a lot of runs that you might not see on TV but he makes them again, which not all strikers do. He's got to stay patient and not get frustrated.
"I am upset that him and Danny Ings can't hit it off as a partnership. I don't know why it doesn't click, maybe they are too similarly. Danny is an amazing player, one of the best to sign for Villa, and I don't know why they can't make it work. Maybe with them being similar they make similar runs, but at some stage I think it will click. I have no much faith in Danny."
Former Leeds striker Jermaine Beckford: "Eventually it will click and they'll play side by side. The more they play together the more they'll understand each others strength and weaknesses. It depends on the formation of the team too.
"If Ollie Watkins starts and wears the defenders down in 60-70 minutes then Ings can come on and eventually he'll find his way in. That might be part of the game plan."

It hasn't taken Unai Emery long to address Aston Villa's goalscoring issues.
Villa scored seven goals in 11 league matches under Steven Gerrard this season, at an average of 0.6 per game.
Since his departure, they are averaging 1.9 goals per game in the Premier League (13 in seven matches).

Former Aston Villa striker Dion Dublin on Sky Sports: "This is a massive game tonight, it really is. Aston Villa can kick on and Leeds can start to get to where they want to get. It is a great game."
Image source, Getty ImagesAston Villa are seven points clear of relegation and probably looking up the table rather than down.
However, Leeds are two points above the drop - albeit with a game in hand - so will be desperately keen for a win to move them away from danger.
There's some big clashes at the bottom of the table with six of the bottom eight sides playing each other.

Image source, Getty ImagesAston Villa's defeat by Stevenage is "an eye-opener", but actually strengthens manager Unai Emery's hand, according to former Villa midfielder Nigel Reo-Coker.
Emery's side appeared to be cruising through to the FA Cup third round, but two goals in the last three minutes for the League Two outfit produced arguably the weekend's biggest shock.
Reo-Coker told BBC Radio 5 Live's Football Daily podcast that the result illustrated the problems Emery faces at Villa Park.
"It's an eye-opener to those above Emery for where Villa are and what they need in terms of recruitment," he said.
"I think it's done him a favour so he can go and have a good argument with the owners about who to get in."

Aston Villa defender Ashley Young on Sky Sports: "It is really important to keep our league running going. We want to bounce back after the Stevenage game and there is no better place to do that than at home.
"The manager wants us to get on the ball and play football and as a footballer it is nice to be able to play football and enjoy it again.
"We are seeing a different Leeds side. One that is more compact and play more on the counter. They've got good players. As a footballer you want to concentrate more on yourselves than the opposition."

Aston Villa's John McGinn on Sky Sports: "The manager includes all of the injured players. It was something he was very strong on when he arrived. The meetings can be long but it is all part of his detail. He wants everyone to know. I have been involved, he wants everyone to feel involved. For the ones that understand me I am in there rallying the troops.
"It has been fine adapting, I've just stayed myself. The one thing Steven Gerrard said to me when he made me captain was 'don't change, stay true to yourself' and that is the one thing I've managed to do. I didn't perform the way I wanted to under him and I feel a bit of guilt for that. The new manager seems to have taken for me. There are a lot of players like myself who have underperformed for this club this season. We have been indifferent but we still have a chance to get in the top half and that is what we'll try and do.
"The first Unai addressed was that he wasn't happy being here. He wasn't happy taking a team that wasn't confident and performing. He wanted to sort the away form out. We went to Brighton, which every Premier League player will tell you is horrible, they batter you. We stood up well that day and won and we had another good performance at Spurs. Our challenge now is doing what clubs like Fulham and Brentford are doing and churning out results."

Former Aston Villa striker Dion Dublin on Sky Sports: "The door is ajar for Aston Villa and they will feel like they can kick it open and play the way they want to play. The energy has been better.
"I still want to see more from Emi Buendia and Philippe Coutinho and Douglas Luiz. They are the players that can change games for Villa. They are the talented players.
"The fans can be optimistic. The standards are better."

Image source, Getty ImagesUnai Emery hopes to add to new signing Alex Moreno but says players will need to leave first, with Ludwig Augustinsson expected to exit.
Aston Villa have completed the £13.2m signing of Moreno from Real Betis and now have the Spanish left-back, Augustinsson and Lucas Digne as options in that position.
"We have more players with the possibility to leave and if we can do it we can add more players," Emery said.
"We want to improve and have better balance in the squad with different profiles.
"We know him [Moreno]; he was a very important player in La Liga. I wanted to sign a different profile of player to Augustinsson, who is on loan from Sevilla. We wanted to be more offensive. We were thinking about different players, but Moreno is the player we had in focus.
"The idea is for Augustinsson is to leave, to get another option to play."

Key for Leeds in this window is finding someone to help take the goalscoring burden off Rodrigo.
He has scored 40% of Leeds' league goals so far this season (10/25), with only Erling Haaland (47%) and Harry Kane (41%) netting a higher share for their side.

Former Manchester United defender Gary Neville on Sky Sports, talking about Leeds boss Jesse Marsch: "He persevered through last season. He had more faith in his team. I was really fearful for Leeds and thought they'd go down but he was always positive. He is a bundle of enthusiasm and that will transmit to players.
"You can see some managers are suffering in their interviews but you never get that with Jesse Marsch."

More from Leeds United manager Jesse Marsch on Sky Sports: "Every match for us is really difficult and they require different things from us. Against the top six we can defend a little bit more and work on our pressing and then when we play in other matches we have to be better on the ball and find ways to command the ball. We want to be more solid. The best part of the Liverpool result and performance is that we weren't rattled at a tough place to play, we stayed strong.
"We have had a lot of discussions about what is the right strategy and what are the right kind of players. I'm really grateful for the togetherness we have in the club and the shared vision. My focus is on the daily process with the team. My emphasis every day is trying to get these players to play their best."

Leeds United
Leeds United manager Jesse Marsch on Sky Sports: "Both matches [Newcastle and West Ham] were a tale of two halves. We are trying to put complete performances together and continue to defend better. But in general I think it has been solid, but we know we can get better and that will be the priority tonight.
"We want to be very good defensively. We want to press well and be very aggressive without the ball. With the ball I want to see us be a little bit more brave and vertical and not always just play wide and combinations with our full-backs. That will help us also with our counter-pressing. But I still think the key will be what we can do defensively and turning those moments in counter-attacking transitions.
"It has been hard having Patrick Bamford out, he's missed playing football. He has looked lively in training in the last 10 days. That has been my emphasis with him: stopping worrying about missing chances and whether you're starting or coming off the bench, just enjoy your football and I think we can see the best of him."

Aston Villa had an absolute shocker against Stevenage in the FA Cup. I know Unai Emery made lots of changes but that defeat really takes the shine off what had been a decent start for him as manager.
Leeds were lucky not to go the same way thanks to a late fightback against Cardiff, and Jesse Marsch was very critical of his players afterwards.
Both teams will be looking for a reaction and I am very tempted to go with a draw. I am going to say Villa will edge it, though, because I am still not sure Leeds can hurt teams no matter how hard they try.
Prediction: 2-1
