Brenden Aaronson is fouled midway inside the Aston Villa half. Jack Harrison lifts the ball into the box but Danny Ings is there to head behind.

Harrison then tries to play the corner short but makes a mess of it and Villa almost capitalise on the break.

Leeds' set pieces have been poor in this game.

Andrew Priestley: It’s criminal at this level just how many times Leeds leave a free opposition player or players at the back post. The number of chances and goals they have conceded this season to that sort of attack is mind-boggling and it doesn’t seem to be improving any.

Unai Emery is typically animated on the edge of his technical area and he's urging his players to push up into the Leeds half.

His side does come forward as Leon Bailey is into space down the right. His cross is cleared to Douglas Luiz on the edge of the box but the Brazilian drives over.

Really good play by Alex Moreno, who has some real pace. He gets away down the left, knocks the ball past one Leeds player before passing to a team-mate. He continues into the box and gets the ball back again but his shot is blocked.

At the other end, Emi Martinez produces another excellent save to keep out a curled Wilfried Gnonto effort.

Great start to the second half with chances at both ends.
