Palace make a mess of a lovely counter-attack. Tyrick Mitchell cuts out the ball and plays it forward to Jean-Philippe Mateta. He finds Michael Olise, who loses a couple of defenders with some sublime skill, and finds Mateta again, who shoots wide.

Joao Cancelo considers having a crack from distance but squares it to Stones, who hammers in a first-time shot himself. It brushes the back of Jeffrey Schlupp and goes behind for a corner. Good strike.

City's Kyle Walker slams in a low cross which is blocked. But City come back with another wave of attack. Can the visitors turn up the pressure?

There's a City slip and Jean-Philippe Mateta charges into the box, beating Aymeric Laporte but his cross is put behind by John Stones.

The corner comes to nothing and Riyad Mahrez is fouled as he starts a counter.

Palace are working from a base but they're jumping at the right times. They've won it twice from Manchester City now.

Crystal Palace are giving as good as they're getting, at least.

Not for the first time City leave spaces at the back and Jean-Philippe Mateta plays in Michael Olise, whose outside-of-the-boot shot is wide.

City's Jack Grealish gets the ball on the left and casually strolls into the box but Michael Olise is more alert and wins the ball off him.

City are being patient. Palace are sitting in their block.

A lot of City's attacks are coming down the left side, which obviously frees up Mahrez on the right on the diagonal.

Conor Gallagher nicks the ball off Aymeric Laporte on the halfway line and this could be a huge chance for Palace but his cross to Wilfried Zaha is too strong and the Ivorian is near the corner flag.

I'm not sure whether Zaha is shooting or crossing or what but he rolls the ball into the side-netting from the tighest of angles.

City's Riyad Mahrez gets the ball on the right wing and cuts in as he likes to do but he doesn't get enough curl on his shot and it's wide of the far post.

Conor Gallagher is probably too clever for his own good here as his nonchalant ball out to the wing is over Tyrick Mitchell.

Already Kevin de Bruyne is giving Tyrick Mitchell a problem, and Mahrez is staying wide right.

Mitchell has got to keep his eye on two world-class players.
