    Lyon boss Sonia Bompastor: "We're going into this game with a lot of respect for Juventus. Last year, it was a difficult match. They are a team that qualified by eliminating Chelsea.

    "They have quality. Juventus have gained confidence and experience. They want to hurt their opponents and they don't give up on the mental aspect."

    Joe Montemurro took over as Juve boss in the summer, having left Arsenal at the end of last season.

    In his three-and-a-half years in north London, he guided the Gunners to the 2018-19 Women's Super League title as well as the League Cup in 2018.

    He had left Arsenal looking for a career break, but Juve's approach and their "long-term project" of trying to establish the women's side as a European force is what drew him back to the game within months.

    Juventus are coached by former Arsenal boss Joe Montemurro. His side edged out Chelsea in the group stage but says Lyon are the favourites to progress over the two-legs.

    Before we get stuck into European action, news from the WSL that tonight's London derby between Chelsea and Tottenham has been called off for a second time after a Covid-19 outbreak at Spurs.

    The game was initially scheduled for January but was postponed because of injuries and Covid cases at Chelsea.

    The Blues could have gone top of the table for the first time this season with a victory over their rivals.

    Lyon are the record women's European champions - winning the Champions League seven times.

    They had won five in a row before Barcelona took the title last season.

    This is the first time Juventus have been in the quarter-finals.

    It's almost four years since Ada Hegerberg quit playing for Norway over the unequal treatment of the women’s side.

    According to reports in Norway today, the Lyon striker is about to make a sensational return to the national team.

    Hegerberg has declined to play for Norway since they were knocked out of the Women's European Championship in 2017 without scoring a goal.

    She took a stand against what she describes as a lack of respect for female players in Norway.
