I declared the game over at 3-0. Now I'm not so sure. The speed of Aaron Lennon's reply for Burnley has given them a bit of hope.

I just want another half with entertainment like the first, if that's alright?

Well, if you haven't got anything out of that half I'm not sure football is for you.

Mason Greenwood has threatened at times this half. He is found wide left, weaves into a shooting position but drags his effort wide.

Harry Maguire tries to enhance his rep with a bit of attacking play, popping up on the right to fire in a cross that is blocked.

Scott McTominay is having a great game.

He wins the ball and fires a lovely pass wide to Cristiano Ronaldo to start an attack that ends with Luke Shaw's cross being cut out.

Burnley refuse to lie down. They win another corner that is initially cleared before the danger disappears courtesy of a foul by a Clarets player in the box.

Aaron Lennon has picked it up in the number 10 position, he is running at Harry Maguire, all he is doing is waiting for him to take that step and then shifts it to the right and a great finish across David de Gea.

It is the first time Manchester United have scored three goals in the first-half of a Premier League game since January, when they put nine past Southampton.

Aaron Lennon meanwhile has not scored at all since September 2018.

It's not done Harry Maguire's status much good that he was one of the main men trying to stop Aaron Lennon there.

Four goals in 40 minutes, plenty more chances. What's going to happen next?

Just shows what can happen when one side has so much individual quality.

Chris Wood continues to be a handful. He goes up to meet a long ball forward and comes away with the ball, but his low shot is blocked and United clear.

Sean Dyche is raging at the fourth official, suggesting some shirt pulling on his player by Harry Maguire. Both players were at it, though.

Mason Greenwood is the latest to test Wayne Hennessey. His shot from the edge of the box is too close to the keeper, though. Save is an easy one.

There was loads of excitement around Manchester United when they signed Jadon Sancho, believing it was throwback to the wingers of old, like Ryan Giggs, Cristiano Ronaldo and, going back even further, George Best.

It has not worked out like that for the Londoner, who has been a shadow of the player who did so well in the Bundesliga for Borussia Dortmund.

That was good though. Sancho took the responsibility from Luke Shaw and then darted into the box.

It is one of those occasions when the offensive player deserves the goal, even if his shot might not have been going in.

Yep, that second goal has gone down as a Ben Mee own goal.
