    A week before Christmas Arsenal were woeful at Everton, beaten and reflecting on their worst start to the season since 1974-75.

    Mikel Arteta's side were down in 15th, just four points from the relegation places.

    But, four wins in a row - three in the league - have pushed them back up to the fringes of the top half and all appears to be well once more.
