    Arsenal 0-0 Crystal Palace

If it stays like this these sides will be 11th and 13th and that feels about right, I would say.

Wilfried Zaha runs down the Palace left and goes down under a challenge from Rob Holding but there's nothing doing in that one.

    One more chance, anyone?

We all should have probably watched the snooker, to be honest.

And Eddie Nketiah is on as well, instead of Alexandre Lacaxette.

    Arsenal 0-0 Crystal Palace

Palace now having a good spell as Bukayo Saka defends well at the far post. Can anyone force a winner?

Here is Jordan Ayew - he replaces Christian Benteke.

    Arsenal 0-0 Crystal Palace

Eberechi Eze is carrying on, with Jordan Ayew being told to sit back down in the stands.

Wilfried Zaha almost finds Eze with a cross from the right but Arsenal clear.

    Arsenal 0-0 Crystal Palace

Eberechi Eze is down and hurt after running into Thomas Partey. He looks a fairly solid gentleman to run into, and it's a knee-on-knee clash.

    Think he'll be OK.

    Arsenal 0-0 Crystal Palace

Arsenal have scored once after the 70th minute this season. Eddie Nketiah netted in the 86th minute in the 2-1 home win against West Ham United on 19 September.

    Arsenal 0-0 Crystal Palace

New contract or not, Rob Holding can't steer his header on target from six yards out. Decent chance.

  9. Postpublished at 72 mins

    Arsenal 0-0 Crystal Palace

Palace should get rid of Zaha?! That's a new one.

Arsenal win a corner now as we edge closer to the end. They need a spark from somewhere.

Bobmoor: Is it me or are the Crystal Palace front line just selfish and play for themselves?

Lewis Chapman: Zaha seems toxic for Palace, he's on a different wavelength to everyone else and throws little fits towards his teammates, refs and whoever will listen when he doesn't get his way, he needs to change or Palace need to get rid and build around Eze.

Terryfic Otobong: Emile Smith-Rowe hasn't been in the game. So the old Arsenal returns.

And Arsenal fans get their wish - Thomas Partey is on for Dani Ceballos.

What a counter! Christian Benteke gets the ball on halfway with his back to goal and manages to swivel and play in Wilfried Zaha down the right. Such a good pass!

Zaha sprints away and puts in a return ball, also brilliant, and Granit Xhaka does really well to slide in and clear.

From the corner a flicked header hits James McArthur and lofts into the arms of Bernd Leno. Half a chance!

    Arsenal 0-0 Crystal Palace

Wilfried Zaha is not happy, as he often is on the pitch. He reacts to a David Luiz challenge and is caught in the face by Luiz's knee I think.

Luiz is booked and it's all calmed down.

  14. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 65 mins

    Arsenal 0-0 Crystal Palace

Ainsley Maitland-Niles is off, Nicolas Pepe is on. Bukayo Saka will move to left-back, you'd assume.

Ryan Howard - I could not agree more. One of my pet hates!

Matty AFC: If Partey is fit enough to be on the bench then I can't see why he isn't on by now. Ceballos and Xhaka have been OK but Arsenal need more drive through the middle.

Dave: I know Arsenal have been on the slide for the past 5 years. Arsenal fans can't be happy with this.

RyanHoward: What is the obsession modern players have with placing the ball as far away as they can for corners? Just place it on the painted line, half an inch won't make it easier to cross. The linesman had to correct Saka there, then he went back and moved it again afterwards.

Rob Elmore: Sorry but Maitland-Niles has been terrible.

It might take a moment of individual magic to open this up and Ainsley Maitland-Niles finds one, juking inside to go between three Palace players and then shape in a curling shot which is unfortunately for him straight at Vicente Guiata.

    Nicolas Pepe is warming up.

    Arsenal 0-0 Crystal Palace

An hour gone and the game is in a bit of a lull. Arsenal seeing lots of the ball but it's slow going.

"A team shouldn't miss a left-back as much as Arsenal have missed Kieran Tierney," reckons Alan Smith on the TV.

Tyrick Mitchell needs some treatment but the Palace left-back is going to be able to carry on for now. Wilfried Zaha then pins and rolls Rob Holding and wins a foul on halfway to alleviate some pressure.

    Arsenal 0-0 Crystal Palace

It's pretty from Arsenal, but it's very slow build-up. They're trying to score a postcard goal and nearly do, as Granit Xhaka picks out Ainsley Maitland-Niles on the overlap, his first-time lay-off finds Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, his shot lands at the feet of Alexandre Lacazette, and he fires wide.

    The flag was up anyway.
