Aston Villa have been more positive this second half, certainly positionally. John McGinn has pretty much gone right up front alongside Samatta and are prepared to leave people in advanced positions and play on the counter-attack.

There's a win out there for Villa, Everton are playing like a team with nothing much to play for.

If it stays like this Villa will be three points behind safety with just six left to get.

So nearly two! Youri Tielemans with a peach of a pass, exactly what Jamie Vardy is looking for, between the defenders and into his run. He streaks into the area, takes on the shot on his left foot and it smashes away off the near post.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin now heads tamely over the top.

Jack Grealish again! Again Everton show him inside on to his right foot and again he curls wide, of the far post this time.

There are still two games left for Villa after this - Arsenal and West Ham. Big fixtures which will become more surreal if they don't pick up all three points tonight.

And that's a pretty decent opening for Jack Grealish! He finds space on his favoured left channel, cuts inside and could drive on but instead shoots, dragging tamely wide of the front post. Pretty poor effort really.
