To keep the goal difference interesting, all United need now is a nice 8-1 away victory against Palace like we did against Forest during our treble winning season... If we're 4-1 up with 20 minutes left to play expect Ole to come as sub and score 4 goals.

It's a must win game for Manchester United tonight. They need a better performance than the one against Southampton, there needs to be more energy and with the changes, it'll bring some freshness for the big fixtures coming up. It's the business end of the season and it's important that freshness gets the best results for United - but Crystal Palace need to bounce back as well.

Gbadero: I can't help but almost shed tears for Villa. Relegation is much of a big deal than everyday people think. They will doubtless rue that Anwar el Ghazi miss. It's really unbelievably painful. Precious two points gone!

We (Everton) really are poor. There's been a lot of talk on the boards about who should go in the summer. General consensus is most of the squad wouldn't be missed.

Wilfried Zaha had a forgetful spell at Manchester United and comes up against his old club and old boss tonight.

The Ivory Coast international made 12 Premier League appearances without scoring while on loan at Cardiff City in 2013-14, under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

Portuguese midfielder Bruno Fernandes has been the catalyst for change at Manchester United, transforming the side into a free-flowing, attacking team.

The former Sporting Lisbon man has contributed seven goals and seven assists in his first 11 Premier League games.

United, meanwhile, are unbeaten in their last 18 in all competitions.

    Leicester City

Leicester defender Jonny Evans on Sky Sports: "It was very important, our heads dropped after the second and third goal the other day against Bournemouth, it was important we showed pride tonight. We did that really well."

On debutant Luke Thomas: "He was outstanding and everything he did was immaculate, man of the match without a doubt. He's been training really well and everyone has been really impressed with him."

The opportunity for Villa was when El Ghazi should have put his side two nil up. A huge turning point for Villa - suddenly a comfortable victory turns into an uncomfortable draw. Carlo Ancelotti will be the more pleased of the two managers but Aston Villa were terrific in the second half, creating chances and brave in their possession and play. Unfortunately they didn't quite get the result they were after.

Everton have suddenly come alive. We wondered were the attacking intent had been, all the quality in the top half of the field - where had that been for 87 minutes of this game? Suddenly Villa are on the back foot.

Talk about creating something out of nothing. There didn't seem to be any real action from Everton. Confusion as to whether it was over the line, all eyes turn to the referee and the goal is given. Villa should be comfortable in this game but now Everton are 1-1.

Relegated by a Theo Walcott header. That really is unlucky.

    GOAL - Everton 1-1 Aston Villapublished at 19:45 BST 16 July 2020

    Theo Walcott (87 mins)

    A dagger into Villa hearts!

They just can't keep that clean sheet and it could be decisive. It could be a return to the Championship.

Everton whip in a cross to the back post, Theo Walcott loops a header across goal and it's so nearly a brilliant clearance from Ezri Konsa. He overhead kicks it on the line but his contact only sends it over the line before Pepe Reina can scoop it out.

The ref's watch gives the goal and it's clearly in.

    Everton 0-1 Aston Villa

Worst run club in the league? I'm not even going to bite - but that is another shocker of a miss!

For the hosts this time, Dominic Calvert-Lewin picked out on the six-yard line, puts it wide. He fools the crowd noise person though. A lovely burst of YYYEAAHHHHHHHAOOOOOO.
