Neither side have been shy about delivering crosses into the box so far. Iwobi had his head up for a cross early on and Targett has had two crosses flashed right across the Everton penalty area.

Everton aren't scared to go long under Carlo, and in Richarlison they have an ever-willing runner. He scored running on to a long ball the other day but this time after chesting it down he loses the ball.

    Leicester 0-0 Sheffield United

Debutant Luke Thomas wins a corner which causes a bit of chaos in the Blades box, they can't get it out too far and Youri Tielemans has a long-range shot deflected wide.

  4. 'Ancelotti lifted the expectations'published at 18:03 BST 16 July 2020

    Everton 0-0 Aston Villa

    Leon Osman
Former Everton midfielder on BBC Radio 5 Live

When Ancelotti came into Everton, they were fighting off relegation, so the expectations were low. The fact that he quickly brought decent performances out between Christmas and February - Everton were one of the form teams - was uplifting to the club. You sometimes forget expectations change because of level of performances given but once you've shown that level of performance and what you're capable of, it starts to be expected every single week and at the moment, this Everton side are looking more like the one at the start of the season.

    Leicester 0-0 Sheffield United

It's Sheffield United who threaten right from the off down the M1 - George Baldock his usual nuisance down the right, he cuts it back and David McGoldrick shoots over under pressure.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin has a sniff of goal straight away, actually a decent effort, on the volley but over!

All set? Wall-to-wall high fives and fist bumps across the two grounds.

Villa and Leicester need these points very badly. For very different reasons.

  11. 'Still in Leicester's hands'published at 17:56 BST 16 July 2020

Leicester v Sheffield United (18:00 BST)

    Curtis Davies
Derby defender on BBC Radio 5 live sports extra

Leicester started the season so well and maybe with starting so well, people started to believe Champions League football was a done deal. Coming back after the restart, they have been unfortunate with injuries but when you look at it, they have taken six from 18 points, whilst Chelsea have taken 12 and Manchester United have taken 14. So from being in pole position, they now have to look over their shoulders - but it's still in their hands.

No doubts that a top-five finish would be a great season for Leicester. It's just that you would have bet the farm on them getting in the Champions League just a month or so ago.

    Here come the teams!

    Leicester City

Leicester boss Brendan Rodgers talking to Sky Sports: "Our priority is to try and get top six. A win tonight would guarantee top five, which is an incredible achievement.

"Luke Thomas has that composure and a really good temperament. He will mature physically over the next couple of years."

Everton v Aston Villa (18:00 BST)

Former Everton midfielder on BBC Radio 5 Live

Aston Villa were caught in a bit of limbo against Crystal Palace; should they attack and go forward? Then they came to life, started passing the ball around and growing in confidence - not just Jack Grealish, he's always at the centre of everything positive at Villa - but other players around him suddenly put their chests out. The second half performance against Palace, in particular, you wouldn't have believed Villa are in the position that they find themselves in now.

  17. JT in the huddlepublished at 17:51 BST 16 July 2020

Everton v Aston Villa (18:00 BST)

    Aston Villa

Aston Villa's players stop their pre-match warm-up briefly and form a huddle on the Goodison pitch. Right in the middle of it is John Terry. The assistant boss is very animated. Will words from the five-time Premier League winner inspire the team to a first away win since 1 January?

  18. Vardy 'an incredible example' - Wilderpublished at 17:51 BST 16 July 2020

Leicester v Sheff Utd (18:00 BST)

    Alistair Magowan
BBC Sport at King Power Stadium

No-one will be more motivated to score today than Jamie Vardy, who was targeted by Blades fans back in August as a 'Wednesday reject' before he silenced Bramall Lane with his first goal of the season.

Twenty-two goals have followed since then, and United boss Chris Wilder said this week that the Leicester striker was "an incredible example" for overturning that early disappointment to have such a great career.

Vardy has more goals this season than Sheffield United's top four scorers combined.

James Maddison is wearing a shellsuit that is remakably like the one I had out of a catalogue in about 1991. Are they back in fashion now?
