    Man City 2-0 Bournemouth

Not looking good for Bournemouth with Manchester City two goals to the good at the break.

  3. Postpublished at 18:45 BST 15 July 2020

    Burnley 0-0 Wolves

    Dion Dublin
Former Aston Villa & Man Utd striker on BBC Two

Lovely little run by Jota but fantastic bit of defending by Pieters. They seem to find the neat and tidy spaces, these cultured Portuguese players that Wolves have in their ranks.

  4. PENALTY APPEALpublished at 18:44 BST 15 July 2020

    Man City 2-0 Bournemouth

Penalty for Manchester City? Gabriel Jesus goes down inside the box as he challenges for a loose ball. Referee waves play on, VAR has a look but stands by the original decision.

Yet another hapless Newcastle defensive mistake leads to a goal. If St James Park was full the Geordie faithful would not tolerate this kind of display.

  7. Postpublished at 18:43 BST 15 July 2020

    Burnley 0-0 Wolves

Burnley under a pressure again as Ruben Vinagre's cross is deflected behind for another Wolves corner. The set piece comes to nothing but Wolves go close soon after when Diogo Jota clips a shot into the sidenetting.

  8. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 18:43 BST 15 July 2020

    Newcastle 0-1 Tottenham

So unlucky! Newcastle are piling on the pressure and Spurs ask for trouble by not closing down Jonjo Shelvey on the right wing. He's got time and space and his ball in is superb, full of pace and Dwight Gayle just has to help it on.

He does - but his header bounces away off the inside of the post.

  9. 'Heartbreaking'published at 18:41 BST 15 July 2020

    Man City 2-0 Bournemouth

    Pat Nevin
Former Chelsea and Scotland winger on BBC Radio 5 Live

That's heartbreaking for Bournemouth, there looked to be nothing on for Gabriel Jesus.

Top quality strikers look up and pick their spot, that's what they do at this level.

There's a lot of intelligence there, from David Silva and Jesus.

  10. GREAT SAVE!published at 18:40 BST 15 July 2020

    Newcastle 0-1 Tottenham

Good stop by Hugo Lloris - down low to tip away another sharpener from Allan Saint-Maximin.

  11. CLOSE!published at 18:39 BST 15 July 2020

    Newcastle 0-1 Tottenham

Unlucky! Newcastle attack with real verve, the ball is switched out to the left and Miggy Almiron lets the ball run to Matt Ritchie. No hesitation in his mind, he shoots early and it takes a massive deflection - and goes wide!

Hugo Lloris was troubled by that one.

  12. goal

    GOAL - Man City 2-0 Bournemouthpublished at 18:39 BST 15 July 2020

    Gabriel Jesus (39 mins)

But Manchester City are always capable of doing this!

David Silva turns architect this time as he feeds Gabriel Jesus inside the area. The striker still has work to do with plenty of players around him but he works some space before tucking a shot into the far corner.

  13. CLOSE!published at 18:38 BST 15 July 2020

    Man City 1-0 Bournemouth

Nicolas Otamendi throws himself in the way of Dominic Solanke to block the forward's goalbound shot.

Bournemouth may be behind but they've had the better chances since David Silva's goal.

  14. YELLOW CARDpublished at 18:36 BST 15 July 2020

    Newcastle 0-1 Tottenham

A couple of yellows, Toby Alderweireld into the book for a bodycheck before Gio lo Celso is laid out by Federico Fernandez. Lo Celso is left holding his face suggestively but it is just a yellow.

  15. Postpublished at 18:36 BST 15 July 2020

    Burnley 0-0 Wolves

    Dion Dublin
Former Aston Villa & Man Utd striker on BBC Two

Burnley are trying to make the pitch as big as possible but Wolves are so well drilled.

  16. Postpublished at 18:36 BST 15 July 2020

    Burnley 0-0 Wolves

Daniel Podence has been lively in this half with his quick footwork keeping the Burnley defence occupied. Just needs to improve his final delivery as a cross into the box is comfortably dealt with by the hosts.

  17. GREAT SAVE!published at 18:34 BST 15 July 2020

    Man City 1-0 Bournemouth

David Silva is almost out free-kicked as Junior Stanislas hits an absolute peach but Ederson does superbly to dive and push onto the post, the ball then bounces off his head and out of play.

  18. Postpublished at 18:33 BST 15 July 2020

    Newcastle 0-1 Tottenham

That drinks break turned the tide on this half, as it seems to pretty often since the resumption. Spurs now look full of it, Lucas Moura getting away from Nabil Bentaleb but his pass isn't quick enough to send Son away.

  19. Postpublished at 18:32 BST 15 July 2020

    Burnley 0-0 Wolves

    Robbie Keane
Former Wolves and Liverpool striker Robbie Keane on BBC One

Burnley are playing as expected, long balls, getting bodies in behind. Neves is switching the play for Wolves and Traore is doing what he does best going forward. What we expected from both sides.

  20. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 18:32 BST 15 July 2020

    Burnley 0-0 Wolves

Burnley are forced into a first-half change as Charlie Taylor picks up a knock. Johan Gudmundsson is on in the defender's place.
