    Preston 0-0 Leeds

Preston v LeedsImage source, Getty Images

Preston have done a really good job so far of stemming Leeds' flow, they are getting in front of the ball, not giving players like Tyler Roberts and Pablo Hernandez time to get into the groove.

    Great atmosphere though.

GOAL: Sunderland 1-1 Burtonpublished at 20:13 BST 9 April 2019

    Jack Baldwin (27 mins)

Big Jack Baldwin gets Sunderland back level, heading in from a corner in trademark fashion.

That'll settle the nerves a bit.

I think that's the 16th time this season that Sunderland have gone behind in a league game. They have 'bouncebackability' it would seem.

    Bolton 0-0 Middlesbrough

Middlesbrough appeal for a penalty when a surging Britt Assombalonga run into the box was checked by his tumble.

Former Boro defender David Wheater held up his hands in innocence. Wasn't given.

Bolton certainly not allowing Boro to have it all their way though, they've enjoyed plenty of possession.

  4. goal

GOAL: Swansea 1-0 Stokepublished at 20:10 BST 9 April 2019

    Daniel James (23 mins)

    What a beauty!

Stoke hadn't conceded a goal for almost 10 hours - they have now and it's a real cracker.

Daniel James picks the ball up wide on the left, cuts inside and bends a fabulous shot around Jack Butland's despairing dive and into the bottom corner.

  5. goal

GOAL: Sunderland 0-1 Burtonpublished at 20:07 BST 9 April 2019

    Lewis Morgan OG (19 mins)

That could be a BIG goal in the League One promotion race.

Burton lead at Sunderland, who only need to avoid defeat tonight to move into the top two.

Albion launch a quick counter attack that ends with Marcus Harness shooting in the box. His shot deflects off a couple of bodies, with the defining touch coming off Sunderland's Lewis Morgan.

Sunderland fell behind at Rochdale on Saturday and came back to win, by the way.

  6. goal

GOAL: Bristol City 3-0 West Brompublished at 20:07 BST 9 April 2019

    Jack Hunt (19 mins)

UNBELIEVABLE. Bristol City running riot at Ashton Gate.

Jack Hunt got the goal, Jay Dasilva's cross was met by the defender who powered it past Sam Johnstone.

First goal for the club and it's party time already.

  7. goal

GOAL: Bristol City 2-0 West Brompublished at 20:06 BST 9 April 2019

    Andi Weimann (16 mins)

    Bristol City double their lead!

West Brom fail to properly clear their lines from Josh Brownhill's long throw and Andi Weimann stabs the ball home from close range.

That's 10 for the season now for the former Aston Villa and Wolves man.

    Sheff Wed 0-0 Nottm Forest

That's a bit naughty from Wednesday centre-half Michael Hector.

Lewis Grabban breaks down the wing and it looks like a dangerous counter for Forest, but Hector pulls him back and deservedly goes into the book.

It could've been a real chance for Forest that, so I suppose you've got to be naughty to be nice sometimes haven't you Michael. Proper cynical.

    Swansea 0-0 Stoke

    Gareth Vincent
BBC Sport Wales at the Liberty Stadium

Sam Clucas is getting the treatment from the home fans on his first return to Wales since his underwhelming stint as a Swansea player came to an end when he left for Stoke last summer.

The reception is less frosty for two more Liberty old boys, Ashley Williams and Joe Allen, who are more fondly remembered in these parts.

On the pitch, meantime, it is Swansea who are looking the more dangerous side early on.

    Preston 0-0 Leeds

Ben Pearson booked for chopping down Jack Harrison, from the Pablo Hernandez free-kick Leeds get a corner.

Jack Harrison somehow put the ball out of play from the resulting effort. Sloppy.

    Neither side into their stride.

    Preston 0-0 Leeds

Couple of opportunities for both sides, Tyler Roberts has a pop but the shot doesn't really trouble North End.

At the other end Kiko Casilla bizarrely punched away a Daniel Johnson free-kick, Preston recycled it and Lukas Nmecha rapped the side-netting with an effort which looked to come off the Leeds goalkeeper.

    Lively start but no goals.

You wonder when Pablo Hernandez will start to find his rhythm, quiet thus far.

  12. GREAT SAVE!published at 20:01 BST 9 April 2019

    Swansea 0-0 Stoke

Stoke have Jack Butland to thank for still being on level terms!

Peter Etebo carelessly gives the ball away trying to play out from the back and the Swans quickly find Oli McBurnie in space inside the Potters box.

His shot is heading for the bottom corner but Butland gets down brilliantly to push it away. Top stuff from the England keeper.

  13. Postpublished at 20:00 BST 9 April 2019

    Bristol City 1-0 West Brom

Niclas Eliasson swings a shot towards goal as Bristol City continue to apply pressure to West Brom.

Marlon Pack is impressively marauding and breaking up play for the Robins.

  14. Postpublished at 19:57 BST 9 April 2019

    Preston 0-0 Leeds

Big concern for Leeds as Ezgjan Alioski is down receiving treatment for a facial injury.

Leeds fans will be hoping he is okay. Small contingent of fans are a little impatient at how long it's taking for him to be helped out.

He's up, and we should be back under way shortly.

  15. Postpublished at 19:57 BST 9 April 2019

    Blackburn 0-0 Derby

Not a lot going on at Ewood thus far, patient passing from both sides. A scuffed shot from Derby forward Tom Lawrence is the best that's been on offer.

That being said, Blackburn winger Joe Rothwell did attempt his best Ricky Villa impression (Google it if you don't know what I mean, it's worth it) but it was from his own half to just outside the Derby box - not QUITE far enough.

Pretty though, I'll give him that.

    Preston 0-0 Leeds

Preston making the early running in front of an enthusiastic crowd at Deepdale, with 5,500 Leeds fans making the trek over the Pennines tonight.

Daniel Johnson whipped in a searing corner early on which just missed out Alan Browne who was lurking.

  17. Postpublished at 19:53 BST 9 April 2019

    Sheff Wed 0-0 Nottm Forest

A good early chance for Wednesday! Adam Reach and Marco Matias with some excellent build-up before the latter crosses for Lucas Joao, but his header is well saved by Forest keeper Jason Steele.

The visitors then race straight up the other end and Joe Lolley shoots wide from distance.

    Lively start.

  18. Postpublished at 19:51 BST 9 April 2019

    Swansea 0-0 Stoke

Goals have been hard to come by in Stoke games - just one in their last five matches.

But there's been an early chance for Swansea in south Wales, with Nathan Dyer shooting straight at Jack Butland.

  19. goal

GOAL: Bristol City 1-0 West Brompublished at 19:48 BST 9 April 2019

    Josh Brownhill (2 mins)

What a start for Bristol City!

The two play-off rivals have barely had time to size each other up before Bristol City prise themselves in front.

Jake Livermore gets the ball pinched off him just outside his own box and Josh Brownhill crashes in after Andi Weimann picked him out following a neat one-two. The Robins are in front.

Right, we're under way around the country in the 19:45 BST kick-offs.

Bolton take on Middlesbrough tonight, that one starts at 20:00 BST.

    Bring on the goals.
