  1. goal

GOAL: Blackburn 2-0 Derbypublished at 21:35 BST 9 April 2019

    Bradley Dack (90+2 mins)

Finally! They couldn't keep missing could they?!

Derby defenders and keeper get in each others way in a bit of a scramble, leaving Blackburn's Bradley Dack a simple tap-in to make this one safe.

  2. Postpublished at 21:35 BST 9 April 2019

    Bolton 0-2 Middlesbrough

Bolton continue to grind away, perspiration not in question but they're finding it hard to find inspiration against a Boro side who are typically pretty tough to break down.

Josh Magennis' shot is blocked, but Boro get bodies in the way and snuff out the attack. Still 15 minutes to go by the way, as this kicked off at 20:00 BST.

  3. Postpublished at 21:35 BST 9 April 2019

    Blackburn 1-0 Derby

AGAIN Blackburn almost make it two on the break! Derby's Jayden Bogle clears brilliantly off the line to deny Lewis Travis after a superb counter attack.

  4. Postpublished at 21:33 BST 9 April 2019

    Blackburn 1-0 Derby

Derby aren't known for it but they're going long here, and Blackburn are retreating a bit.

The home side do have half a chance to seal it on the break but Adam Armstrong shoots wildly under pressure.

They're into FIVE minutes of added time.

  5. Postpublished at 21:33 BST 9 April 2019

    Sunderland 1-1 Burton

Sunderland looking increasingly likely to come away with a 14th 1-1 draw of the season at home to Burton.

They might have sniffed an opportunity when Grant Leadbitter tested the paintwork of the upright with a skiddy drive, while Jon McLaughlin has been inspired against his old club for Sunderland, denying Marcus Harness.

  6. goal

GOAL: Swansea 3-1 Stokepublished at 21:31 BST 9 April 2019

    Oli McBurnie (86 mins)

Stoke's nine men have held out for 25 minutes but finally they are breached.

Oli McBurnie ghosts in behind what is left of the Potters defence and heads in, via the body of Jack Butland, from close range.

Time running out for West Bromwich Albion, as we're into the final four minutes or so of the game.

Matty Taylor has come on for the home side, with first-half scorer Andreas Weimann getting chance to put his feet up late on.

  8. Postpublished at 21:29 BST 9 April 2019

    Sheff Wed 3-0 Nottm Forest

Unsurprisingly, that third Wednesday goal has kind of killed this match.

Forest to their credit are fighting on and almost have one back through Matty Cash, but his close-range shot is superbly blocked by Tom Leeds in the home defence.

    Patrick Bamford (76 mins)

    No denying him that time.

Pablo Hernandez threads the ball into the right channel, Mateusz Klich clips it in at the second attempt and Patrick Bamford just guides the ball into the top corner with his head. Cool as you like.

Three points in the bag and a moment to savour for Bamford who has his first goals in five games.

  11. Postpublished at 21:24 BST 9 April 2019

    Preston 0-1 Leeds

Patrick Bamford meets a low near-post cross but doesn't get enough power on it to trouble Preston goalkeeper Declan Rudd, who just watches it loop into his hands.

Leeds finding space but I think they feel this lead might just be safe enough.

  12. Postpublished at 21:22 BST 9 April 2019

    Preston 0-1 Leeds

Jack Harrison swats a loose effort at the Preston goal which causes Declan Rudd no trouble.

Leeds are really playing with belief a bit now, against a North End side down to 10 of course after the red card to Ben Pearson.

  13. goal

GOAL: Blackburn 1-0 Derbypublished at 21:19 BST 9 April 2019

    Joe Rothwell (76 mins)

Some people say it doesn't matter how you score your first goal for a club. Well those people haven't scored many goals like Joe Rothwell just did for Blackburn.

Derrick Williams slots a neat throughball down the left channel and the former Oxford winger races onto with plenty left to do. He runs another 20 yards before deftly chipping Derby keeper Kelle Roos, who can only watch it bounce, hit the post and trickle in.

Don't goals ALWAYS look better when they go in off the woodwork?

That was worth the 32-game wait.

  14. goal

    Jay Rodriguez (74 mins)

Cat amongst the pigeons... or Throstles amongst the Robins!

West Brom have a second and the nerves might just been starting to jitter now in the home ranks.

Having seen Hal Robson-Kanu denied by goalkeeper Max O'Leary, Craig Dawson nudged a throw into the path of Jay Rodriguez who is able to steer in home.

    Game on.

  15. Postpublished at 21:17 BST 9 April 2019

    Bolton 0-2 Middlesbrough

Bolton caught on the break and Britt Assombalonga is unable to clip the ball under the crossbar as he chipped the keeper Remi Matthews.

Middlesbrough desperate for a third, with two missed opportunities both sailing over the top from the former Forest striker.

  16. League One updatepublished at 21:17 BST 9 April 2019

It's still Sunderland 1-1 Burton - enough to take the hosts into the League One automatic spots.

Charlton are 1-0 up at Wycombe, and as things stand will be just four points behind Sunderland in the race for the top two.

And in a big relegation battle Rochdale have just scored to lead 1-0 at Accrington.

  17. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 21:15 BST 9 April 2019

    Preston 0-1 Leeds

Leeds running with intent now, Luke Ayling whacks the post, driving the ball near post after a crossfield was inadvertently touched to him by Patrick Bamford.

Cries of 'Yorkshire' from the away end, roared on by 5,500 fans. It's well and truly cooking now, this one.

  18. Sol's Macc getting closerpublished at 21:14 BST 9 April 2019

It remains Macclesfield 2-2 Exeter, but the home side have come really close to the goal that would take them out of the League Two relegation zone.

Sol Campbell will be encouraged by his team's attacks this half. Elliott Durrell had half the crowd celebrating for a moment, but his shot was into the side netting.

Exeter do look dangerous on the break though...

  19. goal

GOAL: Sheff Wed 3-0 Nottm Forestpublished at 21:10 BST 9 April 2019

    Marco Matias (66 mins)

This time Wednesday's Marco Matias gets a bit of luck to grab his second goal and surely all three points.

A shot hits the striker and Forest keeper Jason Steele reacts to make a good save.

But the rebound falls to the feet of Matias, who taps in.

  20. goal

GOAL: Preston 0-1 Leedspublished at 21:10 BST 9 April 2019

    Patrick Bamford (62 mins)

    WHAT. A. HIT.

Patrick BLAM-ford. Patrick Bamford with a goal Johnny Giles would have been proud of, an exocet from the edge of the Preston box that gives his Leeds side the lead.

It all came from Preston giving the ball away and earning Leeds a throw. Pablo Hernandez overran the ball, it squirted up and broke kindly to Bamford, who took a touch and pushed it into space before unleashing a rocket.

If there'd been a radar gun, that would have been at least £100 fine and three points. Three points for Leeds as it stands.
