    Rangers 0-2 Aberdeen

It's taken Rangers almost 85 minutes to really stress Joe Lewis as Alfredo Morelos forces a flying save from Aberdeen goalkeeper.

His swerving effort is beaten clear at the near post by the big Englishman.

Then Morelos goes down holding his face after running past Considine in pursuit of the rebound...there's nothing in that, though.

Max Lowe catches Alfredo Morelos on the edge of the box. There's a bit of a delay befoer the Colombian goes down clutching at his knee. No free-kick given, much to his chagrin.

Moments later, Morelos does draw a foul from Andy Considine, who goes into Kevin Clancy's book. Free-kick Rangers on the right angle of the box.

Aberdeen are making their final change. Stevie May off, James Wilson on. An industrious display from May in the absence of main striker Sam Cosgrove.

Wilson makes an immediate and important intervention, clearing that Rangers free-kick.

The 17-year-old is booked and that's his last act of a fine first start in Dons colours. On comes Stephen Gleeson.

Rangers' change of shape has taken away all their intent. Three strikers on the pitch means they don’t have width. It looks like any game plan's gone out of the window.

  10. Aberdeen standing firmpublished at 21:20 GMT 12 March 2019

    Rangers 0-2 Aberdeen

Aberdeen are quite content to sit deep and challenge Rangers to break them down - something the home side haven't managed enough despite enjoying the lion's share of possession.

This is a really strong tactical display from Derek McInnes.

Defoe almost gets on the end of a through ball but Andy Considine is there to ease him off the ball and allow Joe Lewis to come out to scoop up.

    Rangers 0-2 Aberdeen

Aberdeen almost catch Rangers out yet again.

Stevie May has all kinds of space up the right, rumbles along the bye-line and cuts back for Lewis Ferguson.

Connor Goldson has to run back and clear behind for a corner.

Rangers deal with the set-piece but that was very nearly game over.

  13. MISSED PENALTYpublished at 21:13 GMT 12 March 2019

    Hearts 2-1 Partick Thistle

Ikpeazu's spot-kick is saved by Conor Hazard! Justice is done as Hazard dives low to his right to keep out the striker's effort. Ikpeazu had won the spot-kick after minimal contact from Blair Spittal. Jags were furious at the decision but live to fight on after Hazard's heroics.

  14. PENALTYpublished at 21:12 GMT 12 March 2019

    Hearts 2-1 Partick Thistle

A second penalty of the night for Hearts, won by Uche Ikpeazu. This would surely kill the tie...

Off come Scott Arfield and Daniel Candeias.

  19. Clare goes close as Hearts dominatepublished at 21:09 GMT 12 March 2019

    Hearts 2-1 Partick Thistle

Good chance for Hearts to get some breathing space at Tynecastle.

Marcus Godinho's cross from the right finds Sean Clare unmarked eight yards out but his header drifts narrowly wide. Craig Levein's men well on top in the second half.

  20. May walking a tightropepublished at 21:09 GMT 12 March 2019

    Rangers 0-2 Aberdeen

Stevie May has already been booked and he must surely be on his very final warning after committing a foul then kicking the ball away.

Kevin Clancy has a stern word with the Aberdeen striker. He's perhaps a bit lucky it's just a talking-to.
