It's now starting to feel like a home stadium. It hadn't been here for a while but seeing it now, it's pretty full tonight and you feel like the West Ham fans are embracing it and making it their own. It's good to see.

    Gerard Deulofeu

Will Hughes and Troy Deeney just bundle their way through a couple of challenges on the edge of the box before the skipper manages to poke it into the path of Gerard Deulofeu.

The Spaniard hits it first time and catches it nicely - coolly slotting it into the keeper's bottom right.

    Cardiff 0-0 Watford

Oumar Niasse is played in over the top and he tries to lob Ben Foster but the keeper is quick off his line to block the first shot and stands his ground when the rebound is poked straight at him.

    West Ham 0-1 Fulham

West Ham are definitely seeing more of the ball but when they do lose it they look wide open at the back. Fulham's front three are wide across the pitch and there's so much space in behind the Hammers full-backs.

    Michael Pearlman
BBC Sport Wales at Cardiff City Stadium

There was a real fervor around the Cardiff City Stadium during their last match here, a home win over Bournemouth.

It is far more subdued here this evening and if we are honest, the football is not doing much to raise excitement levels at the moment.

This is better from West Ham. They've got into good, wide areas but at the moment the quality of delivery isn't quite there.

They're putting balls into the box but they need to start picking players out.

    Cardiff 0-0 Watford

Oumar Niasse drives the ball forward for Cardiff as they try to catch Watford on the counter. He holds onto the ball too long though and by the time he's threaded it through to Josh Murphy on the left of the box, his teammate is well offside.

    Cardiff 0-0 Watford

Troy Deeney and Daryl Janmaat link-up nicely on the right of the box with a quick one-two before Janmaat's shot curls wide and over the bar.

Watford are straight back on the attack moments later but Gerard Deulofeu is flagged offside after he was slipped through by Will Hughes.

Both teams look absolutely awful at the back = entertaining match. I'm all for it.

As if you didn't know, the record for the longest gap between Premier League goals by a player is 4,935 days by Matt Jackson, between scoring in Everton's 5-2 win at Man City on 8 May 1993 and netting in Wigan Athletic's 3-2 home victory versus Charlton Athletic on 11 November 2006.

Roberto Pereyra could have scored here you know!

Daryl Janmaat curls in a routine cross from the right and it just seems to fall on top of Pereyra's thigh and bounces off for a goalkick.

There was hardly any fuss made of it but that was a decent chance! He just didn't react at all.

Ryan Babel’s strike was his first goal in the Premier League since December 6th 2010, 3000 days ago.

Wonderful. That means he's due one on Tuesday, 11 May 2027

  14. 'Such a poor goal'published at 19:52 GMT 22 February 2019

    West Ham 0-1 Fulham

    Matthew Upson
Former England defender on BBC Radio 5 live

It's as if West Ham are still in the changing rooms.

Sessegnon gets the wrong side of Zabaleta, who doesn't recover well. Babel comes all the way across Cresswell and is free, six yards out, and it's a simple tap in.

Such a poor goal for West Ham to concede but what a great start by Fulham.

  15. CLOSE!published at 8 mins

    West Ham 0-1 Fulham

This could end up about five-all, West Ham now cut the Fulham defence to ribbons, Robert Snodgrass is able to run right through the middle and find Javier Hernandez, but his scuffed cross/shot is hacked clear.

From the corner Issa Diop is able to power in a free header which is just wide!

Neil Warnock looks agitated on the sidelines. He's not happy with Cardiff's start. It's all been a bit scrappy to be honest. It's fair to say, London is the place to be right now.

    Ryan Babel

Fulham now do lead! West Ham are all over the place, have they had two weeks in Magaluf?

Jean Michael Seri carries the ball down the left, tees up Ryan Sessegnon on the overlap, he puts over a good cross as Pablo Zabaleta neglects to close him down, and Ryan Babel this time does bury with his left foot.

Give him two absolute sitters and he will take one.
