  1. Postpublished at 46 mins

    Cardiff 0-1 Watford

Just as the game kicks off, it has to be stopped again. There's a ball on the pitch which referee Simon Hooper rolls away.

  2. KICK-OFFpublished at 46 mins

    Cardiff 0-1 Watford

Neil Warnock probably hasn't calmed down yet but there's another half of football to be played.

  3. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 46 mins

    West Ham 2-1 Fulham

Fulham's personal collection of former, failed Liverpool wingers increases as Lazar Markovic trudges on in place of Ryan Sessegnon. And also here comes Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa replacing Jean Michael Seri.

Former Fulham man Ryan Fredericks is on as well for Pablo Zabaleta.

Chris Agada: Sergio Rico should go back to Spain. EPL is a way too hard for him.

Stephen James: As much as I want Fulham to survive, their ineptness at set pieces and defending in general means relegation is a deserved fate.

I think Javier Hernandez did mean to do it. His hand's in a position and he knows where he is in the box.

The ball's drifting away from him and ok, it's quite a close deflection, but I'm pretty sure he knows he's trying to get his hand on the ball. You see it with people on the line sometimes, saving the ball when they know they can't get it.

The only debate for me is whether it's a reaction or whether you're trying to cheat and score the goal.

It's an unbelievable decision. As stonewall a penalty as you will ever see. Neil Warnock is seething.

Referee Simon Hooper left the field to the loudest boos you will hear this season

Penalty? I'll let you decide but it's pretty obvious to me that Daryl Janmaat comes through the back of Josh Murphy and it's inside the box.

For all those saying 'This is why we need VAR'. I am enjoying this game more for Hernández's hand. The randomness of football creates great stories!

    West Ham 2-1 Fulham

    Matthew Upson
Former West Ham defender on BBC Radio 5 live

It's not going to be a fun second half for Fulham if they continue. This pressure West Ham are applying is impressive, it's physical, and it's just relentless. Fulham can't cope.

Fulham were five points from safety when I started putting that table together.

It's now back out to eight.

  12. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:34 GMT 22 February 2019

    Cardiff 0-1 Watford

A chorus of boos signals the end of the first half as Cardiff fans are clearly livid with the referee over that penalty appeal involving Josh Murphy and Daryl Janmaat.

  13. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:32 GMT 22 February 2019

    West Ham 2-1 Fulham

    Talking point: VAR, VAR, VAR.

  14. Postpublished at 45+2 mins

    Cardiff 0-1 Watford

Joe Ralls has a wild swing at the ball on the edge of the box but completely misses it. Sol Bamba then tries a strange overhead kick but the ball barely moves five metres to his left before Ben Foster catches it.

Just about sums up this match.

  15. 'Lack of backbone'published at 20:30 GMT 22 February 2019

    West Ham 2-1 Fulham

    Matthew Upson
Former West Ham defender on BBC Radio 5 live

It's the fraility and the lack of backbone of Fulham again. Put them under pressure and they are found wanting. They're not able to cope with the set-pieces.

Fulham are marking zonally, which is interesting, and Diop, if you allow him a two or three-stride run-up then you're not going to be able to compete with him.

    Cardiff 0-1 Watford

Sol Bamba does brilliantly well to win the ball off Roberto Pereyra then drives through midfield. He's dragged back by Abdoulaye Doucoure though but the Watford man escapes a booking.

Again, Neil Warnock is incensed. He'll be jogging straight over to the ref at half-time I'm sure...

  17. Postpublished at 45 mins

    West Ham 2-1 Fulham

Felipe Anderson scuffs a shot so badly that it ends up further away from the goal than when he hit it. Basically a clearance.

Joe Bryan is then booked for Fulham.

  18. PENALTY APPEALpublished at 43 mins

    Cardiff 0-1 Watford

Josh Murphy goes down under contact from Daryl Janmaat just inside the area and there are appeals all over the pitch.

The Cardiff fans think it's nailed on and so does Neil Warnock. Looked clear as day to me too. Janmaat just comes sliding straight through the back of Murphy.

  19. CLOSE!published at 43 mins

    West Ham 2-1 Fulham

Every West Ham corner looks like leading to a goal. Even when Robert Snodgrass doesn't connect properly with his cross it leads to a free header and Michail Antonio's effort is pushed clear by Sergio Rico.

  20. Postpublished at 40 mins

    Cardiff 0-1 Watford

Troy Deeney loses possession at one end but Oumar Niasse does so at the other. Watford are just easing along at the moment.

The quicker this half ends, the better for everyone. It's not been great.
