Well, I think it would be accurate to say the tennis centre scrubs up OK after 18 months work.

Arguably it's the most iconic venue on the Olympic Park and it will play host to another GB medal tonight.

Andy Lapthorne took home quad silver here last night and tonight Gordon Reid and Alfie Hewett bid for doubles gold against Stephane Houdet and Nicolas Peifer.

No British wheelchair tennis players have ever won a doubles gold medal - can Reid and Hewett make history 24 hours before they go head to head in the singles final?

The Great Britain men's wheelchair basketball team take on Spain in their semi-final at 21:30 BST.

Women's co-captain Sophie Carrigill hopes that they can reach their first Paralympic final since Atlanta in 1996.

"They had a massive win over Australia in the quarter-finals and they will be on such a high so I hope they take that energy and determination into the game," she told me.

"It will be a tough game but we have every faith in them and will be cheering them on."

GB women lose out in semispublished at 21:14 BST 15 September 2016

    Wheelchair Basketball

There was disappointment for the Great Britain women's wheelchair basketball team earlier after they lost 89-78 to the United States in the semi-finals but co-captain Sophie Carrigill was full of pride.

"We put up a good fight right to the end," she said. "We proved we are a team which plays for 40 minutes and never gives up and I'm so proud of all of the girls.

"We've got a lot of confidence going into the bronze medal game and great determination to make sure we win it.

"We performed so well and executed our gameplan and did what the coach expected of us. But they were scoring the lights out."

Yes, you read that right. SIXTY-SEVEN.

She has been part of the team that won gold medals in 1996, 2000, 2004, 2008 and also won the 1a championship title in 2008 as well.

Also in her medal collection, is a silver at the 2008 freestyle 1a competition and a bronze in the 1996 kur trot grade III competition. Hugely impressive.

More medals could well be set to come soon, Great Britain are currently first and second in the equestrian individual championship test grade 1a event.

Sophie Christiansen is in gold, and Anne Dunham is in silver position.

  15. How they standpublished at 20:53 BST 15 September 2016

This is how the medal table stands at the moment. Great Britain are probably not going to catch China, but ParalympicsGB has a strong grasp on that second place overall.

Before the competition started, the team had aimed to win more medals than achieved in London four years ago. So the magic number to beat is 121.

Weir to quit track racingpublished at 20:46 BST 15 September 2016

Britain's six-time Paralympic gold medallist David Weir was not one of the medallists today and he has announced he will retire from the track after Rio 2016.

The 37-year-old finished sixth in the T54 800m - his final individual track race at Rio 2016 - after coming fifth in the 400m and fourth in the 1500m.

"That's my last individual race on the track," Weir told Channel 4.

"I want to retire at the London Marathon next year. I'll give it one more winter's training and bow out where it all started."

Weir still has a chance for gold in Rio as he will compete in the marathon and may make himself available for the T53/54 4x400m relay team.

Jeanette Chippington, pictured, who won 12 swimming medals between 1988 and 2004, clinched the KL1 canoe title on her return to the Paralympics.

Team-mates Emma Wiggs (KL2) and Anne Dickins (KL3) also took gold at Lagoa. Ian Marsden (KL1) and Nick Beighton (KL2) picked up bronze medals to mark a successful conclusion to the Rio regatta.
