  1. WARWICKSHIRE ALL OUT FOR 147published at 15:38 BST 8 May

    Warwickshire 147 v Yorkshire

Ethan Bamber is the last man out for 28 as the hosts post 147 in their first innings.

Jack White takes the wicket to make it four for him, and all the bowlers have enjoyed themselves with Cliff, Hill and Van Beek all taking two.

The Bears clearly found the batting conditions difficult, the question now is how will Yorkshire handle them?

Rain delay: Worcs 149-4 v Durham

Covers are coming off at New Road, but there is the threat of more weather around.

  3. Postpublished at 15:33 BST 8 May

    Warwickshire 145-9 v Yorkshire

A big shout from Yorkshire to end the Bears innings... not given.

They wanted Olly Hannon-Dalby lbw but not this time says the umpire.

OHD and Ethan Bamber have added 28 together and that is their side's highest partnership this innings.

  4. 100 runs

100 partnership for Clarke and Haynespublished at 15:30 BST 8 May

    Notts 204-3 v Surrey

Jack Haynes scampers a leg-side single off Jordan Clark and that lifts this fourth-wicket partnership into three figures.

It's been a good recovery by the Notts batters after Surrey reduced them to 18-2 this morning.

  5. Postpublished at 15:27 BST 8 May

    Warwickshire 139-9 v Yorkshire

Warwickshire's batting problems today could be summed up by the fact that their highest partnership is 23.

Ethan Bamber has hit a couple of sixes to try to give that fairly meagre total a bit of shine and his partnership with Olly Hannon-Dalby is now 22... with OHD adding seven since arriving.

  6. 200 runs

200 for Somersetpublished at 15:21 BST 8 May

    Somerset 203-5 v Glamorgan

A fine four from Craig Overton brings up 200 for Somerset. With Glamorgan able to celebrate five wickets so far, this one is finely balanced.

  7. wicket

WICKETpublished at 15:20 BST 8 May

    Jennings c Cracknell b Roland-Jones 67 (Lancs 151-6 v Middlesex)

There's the big wicket for Middlesex!

Toby Roland-Jones thought he had Keaton Jennings caught behind earlier in the over, but the appeal for an edge was turned down.

This one, slanting across the Lancashire left-hander again, persuades the umpire and Jennings is on his way.

Tom Hartley is next in for the home side.

  8. wicket

WICKETpublished at 15:18 BST 8 May

    Lehmann b Porter 89 Essex v Hants (193-5)

It had been a great afternoon for Hampshire with Jake Lehmann and Ben Brown quickly raising a century stand to get their side back in the day.

But Jamie Porter has found the breakthrough and for the fifth consecutive innings, Lehmann can’t go onto three figures.

He’s done by one that nips in from round the wicket to take off stump. A very nice delivery and a big strike.

  9. 50 runs

50 for Jack Haynespublished at 15:15 BST 8 May

    Notts 192-3 v Surrey

Like Joe Clarke, Jack Haynes had been stuck just short of 50 for a while and showing visible frustration as he missed out on opportunities to get there.

Eventually he makes it, with an outside edge off Jordan Clark flying to the fence. A welcome milestone for Haynes, who's had a bit of a lean run since the game against Glamorgan a month ago when he made a hundred.

  10. Division Two updatepublished at 15:13 BST 8 May

Opener Ben Charlesworth has helped Gloucestershire to 164-2 off 50 overs against Kent, currently on 81 not out, and he's been aided by a half century from Ollie Price.

James Taylor has taken both wickets for the visitors.

Elsewhere away from that temporarily halted game at Worcestershire, Derbyshire are 181-2 from 52 overs at home to Northamptonshire, largely due to a 112-run opening partnership from Harry Came and Luis Reece.

I suspect too many Warwickshire players were celebrating at Villa Park last night... completely understandable by the way.

    Prit, Harpenden

I'd like to see Emilio Gay of Durham, Joe Clarke of Notts & Josh Hull of Leics in the Test squad. Root is playing well

    Robin, Leicester

  12. wicket

Thompson lbw Van Beek 8 (Warwickshire 117-9 v Yorkshire)

    Nine down!

Jordan Thompson is lbw to Logan van Beek.

Olly Hannon-Dalby, fresh from his recall from Worcestershire, is the last man in for Warwickshire who have had a fairly disastrous day so far.

  13. rain stops play

Rain stops playpublished at 15:01 BST 8 May

    Worcestershire 149-4 v Durham

The heavens have opened at New Road, so Ben Stokes and his team, along with the men in the middle for the hosts Adam Hose and Brett D'Oliveira, head back to the pavilion.

Hose had amassed 59 from 86 balls, while D'Oliveira was on 37 from 93 deliveries.

    Worcs 149-4 v Durham

    Stephan Shemilt
BBC Sport cricket correspondent at New Road

The rain at Worcester is very, very heavy. They're taking an early tea. There's even a chance they won't get back on again today.

Another Bears batter departs in single figures.

Michael Booth is the latest to go, giving George Hill a second wicket and Jonny Bairstow a third catch.

  17. wicket

WICKETpublished at 14:55 BST 8 May

    Tattersall c Leaning b Crocombe 20 (Sussex v Leics 152-4)

Sussex getting back in the day now wirh a fourth wicket.

Good length from Harry Crocombe and he gets it to straighten enough on Jonny Tattersall who edges thickly low to third slip.

  18. wicket

WICKETpublished at 14:54 BST 8 May

    Hurst c Higgins b Sharma 7 (Lancs 128-5 v Middlesex)

Lancashire lose their fifth wicket now...

Naavya Sharma has bowled with zip and consistency and he gains some tangible reward now as Matty Hurst steers one into the hands of fourth slip.

Former Middlesex all-rounder Chris Green has come out to join Keaton Jennings with the home side in a bit of trouble.

  19. 50 runs

50 partnership for Clarke and Haynespublished at 14:45 BST 8 May

    Notts 155-3 v Surrey

Joe Clarke picks up another single to bring up the 50 partnership with Jack Haynes - although it's the latter who has made the biggest contribution, with 34 runs to his name since coming in at the start of the session.

  20. wicket

WICKETpublished at 14:43 BST 8 May

    Vaughan c Cooke b Norton 17 (Somerset 166-4 v Glamorgan)

The hosts get another one, and Archie Vaughan is back in the dressing room after 27 balls.

The usual opener - dropped down to number four today in place of James Rew - nicks one from Tom Norton behind and it's a fairly simple take for Chris Cooke.
