    It's back-to-back bronze medals for Scott Lincoln.

    After coming third in Birmingham four years ago, the Englishman matches that performance with a 20.99m throw to finish third in Glasgow.

    Chukwuebuka Enekwechi of Nigeria wins the gold medal with a throw of 21.07m, while New Zealand's Tom Walsh, who was the defending champion, is forced to settle for silver with 21.03m.

    It’s a heavy defeat for Wales in their final game against Jamaica, who finish second in Pool B and progress to the semi-finals in style to face defending champions Australia in a repeat of the 2022 final.

    Wales’ wait for a victory over Jamaica at the Commonwealth Games goes on. That’s now four defeats to the Sunshine Girls in the history of the competition.

    Next up tonight, we have a vital encounter between England and South Africa with both sides hoping to finish second in Pool A and reach the last four.

    New Zealand are awaiting the winner of that crucial clash.

    Shaniqua Bascombe of Trinidad and Tobago wins the last semi-final with a time of 22.31.

    Andrew Griffiths makes it a medal of each colour for England's weightlifters today as he secures a bronze in the men's +110kg final in the Armadillo.

    The gym owner from Warrington was competing in his second Commonwealth Games having finished sixth in 2022.

    New Zealand's David Liti (389kg) wins the gold medal and creates a new games record in the clean and jerk with an effort of 223kg. He edges out Lovepreet Singh of India in the silver medal position by a single kilogram.

    Welshman James Wales (336kg) takes fourth place with Northern Ireland's Omar Keshta (317kg) finishing sixth.

    He sets a total of 336kg which doesn't look quite enough to get him onto the podium but that moment in front of a packed crowd will live with him for a long while.

    Across the three semi-finals, Adaejah Hodge of the British Virgin Islands is the only woman to have run under 22 seconds.

    Her time of 21.68 seconds, set in Eugene earlier this year, is the ninth fastest in history.

    Oooh. A photo finish!

    England's Success Eduan was out in front for the majority of that race, but she started slowing towards the finish line and New Zealand's Torrie Lewis and Alana Reid of Jamaica make up the ground.

    It's impossible to tell who crossed over first with the naked eye, but the photo finish puts Eduan in third. She'll have a nervous wait to see if her time of 22.65 is fast enough to reach the final.
