We won't be seeing Emily Campbell for a while.

The weightlifters go in order of the weight they have elected to start with, from lowest to highest.

So, Jamaica's Krystal Latoya Campbell is the first athlete up as she starts with a snatch weight of 80kg.

And it seems like England's Campbell will be last with a predicted weight of 110kg.

There has already been medals up for grabs in the weightlifting today and England's Cyrille Tchatchet II got his hands on a silver one.

The 30-year-old lifted 166kg in the snatch and 208kg in the clean and jerk for a total of 374kg, which was bettered only by Fiji's Taniela Tuisuva Rainibogi's 378kg.

Tchatchet's story is a remarkable one.

In 2014, at the age of 19, he competed for Cameroon at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, but he was afraid to return to his homeland and he ended up fleeing the team base and sleeping rough in Brighton.

However, Tchatchet rebuilt his life after being granted asylum and he represented the Refugee Team at the Tokyo Olympics in 2021.

Now, 12 years after fleeing Cameroon's base in Glasgow, he's won himself a silver medal in the same city.

How does weightlifting work?published at 14:21 BST 30 July

    Women's +86kg weightlifting

Athletes compete in two disciplines - the snatch and the clean and jerk - and perform three lifts in each.

The snatch sees the lifter pick up the barbell with a wide grip and raise it overhead in one fluid motion.

In the clean and jerk, the lifter first brings the bar to their chest (clean), pauses, then drives it overhead (jerk) with locked elbows. They must hold it steady until the buzzer sounds.

Weights increase throughout the competition, with athletes selecting what weight to go for at each stage.

The combined total of each lifter’s best snatch and best clean and jerk determines the winner.
