The Aussie duo peeled away, just having too much for the home girl, but a bronze in the 5000m is one brilliant achievement.
She is lapping this up with the Saltire draped over her shoulders.
How she can be bothered to run round this track again, I don't know, but she can do what she likes! She's more than earned it.

The Australian was locked in battle with her compatriot Jessica Hull down the final straight, but Davies clinches it with a season's best time of 14:44.53.

That is a brilliant second quarter of this must-win match by England to reduce the deficit from six goals to one.
The Roses win the quarter 17-12. Adio Halimat with some excellent defensive work. Olivia Thcine and Lois Pearson doing the business at the other end.
This is on a knife-edge and still we are no closer to knowing who will be facing New Zealand in the semi-final.

Muir was a wee lassie when the Games were last held here in Glasgow, far from a household name and nowhere near the medal conversation.
Now, she's one of the most recognisable faces in Scottish athletics, has a rake of medals and has been one of the best women's middle-distance runners in the last decade.
Some difference in 12 years, eh?..
