  1. Turnover - Dalton againpublished at 20:46 GMT 5 December 2021

    Arizona Cardinals 24-14 Chicago Bears

Oh dear - Andy Dalton somehow does see huge lineman Zach Allen and attempts a short dump-off pass that's grabbed by the Cardinals defender and taken back 25 yards and almost to the end zone - but not quite!

It's a case of big man almost scoring a touchdown.

  2. field goal

Field goal Giantspublished at 20:45 GMT 5 December 2021

New York Giants 9-17 Miami Dolphins

Another Graham Gano field goal gets the Giants within eight but they need to get in the end zone if they're going to mount a late fightback.

Back-up quarterback Mike Glennon has completed just 20 of 39 passes today.

  3. touchdown

Touchdown Vikingspublished at 20:42 GMT 5 December 2021

    Minnesota Vikings 21-23 Detroit Lions

Kirk Cousins fires one towards the back of the end zone, where KJ Osborn makes a fine diving catch to get the Vikings within touching distance of Detroit.

They go for the two-point conversion to level things up, with Alexander Mattison trying to run it in, but the Detroit defence stands firm to force him back. The winless Lions still lead.

  4. touchdown

    Touchdown - Chargerspublished at 20:39 GMT 5 December 2021

Los Angeles Chargers 31-22 Cincinnati Bengals

Joe Mixon comes up with a strange fumble as there seemed no pressure on the ball and just looked like he dropped the ball somehow. Tevaughn Campbell wasn't asking questions as he sprung into action with the scoop and score from 61 yards out.

That's a hammer blow for the Bengals.

  5. field goal

Field goal Coltspublished at 20:38 GMT 5 December 2021

    Indianapolis Colts 24-0 Houston Texans

Looks like it's going to be another miserable day for the 2-9 Texans as the Colts add a 23-yard field goal.

  6. Dalton picked offpublished at 20:35 GMT 5 December 2021

    Arizona Cardinals 24-14 Chicago Bears

Not a great spell of play here, with Andy Dalton first taking a heavy hit when he's sacked by the swarming Cards defence, but the the Bears go to punt their kicker is hit and that penalty means Chicago can try again.

However, Dalton may still have been shaken up as he throws a pick to Byron Murphy and Arizona have the turnover they thought they had, but with a bit of interest on top as they're deep in Bears territory.

  7. field goal

Field goal Lionspublished at 20:35 GMT 5 December 2021

    Minnesota Vikings 15-23 Detroit Lions

Detroit respond to Minnesota's first touchdown of the day by kicking a 49-yard field goal to stretch their lead back to eight.

  8. Sacks all roundpublished at 20:32 GMT 5 December 2021

Los Angeles Chargers 24-22 Cincinnati Bengals

Justin Herbert is sacked on back-to-back plays by the Benglas, but the Chargers then reply in kind as they his Joe Burrow hard to stall Cincy's next drive as defences start to get on top here.

  9. touchdown

Touchdown Dolphinspublished at 20:31 GMT 5 December 2021

New York Giants 6-17 Miami Dolphins

Miami make it a two-score game for the first time today after Tua Tagovailoa shows great composure in the red zone.

The Dolphins quarterback fakes a hand-off then rolls to his left. He has time to scan the end zone but not even space to run it in himself. And eventually he picks the right option, fizzing the ball to Isaiah Ford just inside the pylon for a two-yard touchdown.

This would be a fifth straight win for the Dolphins, taking them to 6-7.

  10. field goal

Field goal - Eaglespublished at 20:30 GMT 5 December 2021

Philadelphia Eagles 30-18 New York Jets

Jake Elliott kicks another field goal from 43 yards to make this a bit more comfortable for the Eagles. That's three field goals in a row Philly have scored without reply as they've pulled away from the Jets.

  12. touchdown

    Touchdown - Bengalspublished at 20:21 GMT 5 December 2021

Los Angeles Chargers 24-22 Cincinnati Bengals

Bengals running back Joe Mixon shows a nice combination of patience and strength to wait for his opening and burst through it on a seven-yard rushing touchdown.

It's Mixon's seventh straight game with a touchdown, and with another he would make it four straight games with two scores.

The two-pointer doesn't hit so Cincy remain two points behind.

  13. touchdown

Touchdown Vikingspublished at 20:20 GMT 5 December 2021

    Minnesota Vikings 15-20 Detroit Lions

If Detroit are going to finally get their first win of the season today, they're gonna have to earn it.

The Vikings force them to go three-and-out and on the next play Kirk Cousins goes deep to find Justin Jefferson for 48 yards. That makes up the ground for Alexander Mattison to power over from eight yards and make it a five-point game at Ford Field.

  14. touchdown

    Touchdown - Buccaneerspublished at 20:16 GMT 5 December 2021

Tampa Bay Buccaneers 27-17 Atlanta Falcons

Rob Gronkowski takes his second touchdown catch of the game and this is classic Gronk, rising high and showing those rock-solid hands when scoring on the dive.

He's such a difference-maker for Tom Brady and this team - you can tell by how they struggled at time when he was out injured. Gronk's crucial if they want to go a lthe way again.

  15. touchdown

    Touchdown - Bearspublished at 20:14 GMT 5 December 2021

    Arizona Cardinals 24-14 Chicago Bears

Jimmy Graham used to be visiting the end zone very week while with the Saints, he's not so good these days but this was a nice score from close range after being set up by al lthat Chicago trickeration.

The Bears are still in this game you know.

  16. Bengals defence steps uppublished at 20:11 GMT 5 December 2021

Los Angeles Chargers 24-16 Cincinnati Bengals

The volume inside the Jungle gets turned up a few notches as the Bengals defence force what could be a crucial turnover, and again it's Austin Ekeler who coughs up possession with a fumble.

Cincy get the ball back on LA's 32-yard line so a pretty short field for Burrow to work with.

  17. field goal

Field goal Vikingspublished at 20:09 GMT 5 December 2021

    Minnesota Vikings 9-20 Detroit Lions

The officials signal a touchdown for the Vikings as tight end Tyler Conklin jumps up to make a grab at the side of the end zone.

Replays show his left foot came down on the paint, though, so it's chalked off and they have to settle for a 31-yard field goal by Greg Joseph.

  18. Bears get trickypublished at 20:08 GMT 5 December 2021

    Arizona Cardinals 21-7 Chicago Bears

The Bears just threw their entire playbook at Arizona in one play, with David Montgomery in the wildcat, followed by a flea flicker ending up back with Andy Dalton who had lined up out wide, and eventually he threw a 37-yard pass to Jakeem Grant.

Why run one trick play when you can run three all at once!

  19. field goal

Field goal - Bengalspublished at 20:05 GMT 5 December 2021

Los Angeles Chargers 24-16 Cincinnati Bengals

We've given the kickers are hard time tonight, although rightly so if they go about missing extra points, but Evan McPherson redeems himself somewhat with a solid 48-yard field goal to make this a one-score game.

  20. Postpublished at 19:59 GMT 5 December 2021

Tampa Bay Buccaneers 20-17 Atlanta Falcons

Nothing pretty so far in the second half of the big game in Atlanta, with the teams going punt-punt-punt on three drives. Tom Brady has it back in his hands now..
